Donna Bell has many years of experience pet sitting--from cats and dogs to rabbits. She has fostered cats and kittens for both Pet Patrol (Kitchener) and Toronto Cat Rescue (TCR) since 2007. What started out as pet sitting for family, grew to pet sitting for friends. As word spread, Donna's services have become know in the community and her business has continued to grow. Donna is a loving and ded

icated caregiver for all her client's pets. She likes to treat them as she would her own--with love and caring. Since she has volunteered with Toronto Cat Rescue, Donna has learned to deal with animals on their terms and always strives to make sure your pet is comfortable with her. And, through her cat fostering experience, she is also used to dealing with all kinds of pet situations. Just an FYI there are cats in my home at all times, so I don’t take dogs into my home but is more than happy to stay with them in theirs so that they are in their comfort zone when their family is away.

Protect those paws this summer! 🐾☀️Use the seven-second rule: if the pavement’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for your dog. At just 85°F air temp, asphalt can reach a scorching 130°F! Keep walks cool and safe.

The part of pet sitting that I hate is finding out that the owners have had to say goodbye to a beloved pet.

RIP Cash, I’ll miss you coming to greet me when I’d come to the look after you. I’ll miss you taking up a lot of the bed 😀. I’ll miss having you curl up on the couch with me. I had never cared for bull mastiffs before I met you but you made me fall in love with the breed. Run free sweet boy.

I want to say a very big thank you to all my clients that have patiently waited for me to return to work following my bad fall just before the New Year.

Thank you also to those clients that reached out to check on me or ask how I was doing on my personal page. I knew I had great clients but the kindness and care you offered me as I recovered just reemphasized that I am truly blessed.

I’m so glad to be able to be back to seeing my 4 legged fur clients again. I have missed them all very much.

As we closed out the year of 2024 and look forward to 2025, I want to give a great big “Thank You” to my pet sitting clients!
You have made this past year an amazing one by allowing me to care for your much loved pets. To clients that have been with me for a while, thank you for continuing to trust me to look after your dogs/cats/rabbits/Guinea pigs etc.
To clients that are new this year thank you for hiring me to look after your beloved pets and I hope to continue to care for them for many more years to come.
To those that have moved away or lost a beloved pet this year, please know that they are miss by their pet sitter.
Thank you also for continuing to give my name out to people in your circle of friends or just this community as a whole.
I love what I do and look forward to continuing to love on as many dogs, cats, etc as I can this coming year! Thanks again!

As we celebrate Christmas 2024, I wish to thank all my long term clients for continuing to let me look after your furbabies. I also want to thank those that are new to my services. I love that I am able to do what I love doing. I hope you all have a very safe and happy holiday season and that you spoil those furbabies just a bit 🙂

Great information on the benefits of walking your dog(s). Also there are definitely benefits for us as owners or dog walkers. I know I feel better when I have walked with a dog at some point during my day!

As the weather starts to cool off, it's perfect weather to walk your dog. Waking your dog is important for a number of reasons, including weight management and it help enrich the bond between you and your dog ❤️
