MUST READ Client Testimonial:
"My name is Barb and we have 21month old 70lb Dalmatian called Charlie. This is our first dog and we also have 2 boys - 6 and 9 year old. Currently we live in Brooklyn NY.
I really wanted to make a video review but I tried so many times today and I just could not fit in the 2-3 minutes everything I wanted to say and also it was really hard no to get emotional - because as an animal lover, I constantly think about all the rescue dogs and all the dogs we know here in Brooklyn, who are never allowed off leash because all the problems they have - which I totally fixable by Anthony’s method. I 100% believe this. I decided to write this up instead and provide photos of Charlie with our boys.
Dalmatians (and boy do we see all those in our Charles!) are naturally anxious, very possessive of their home and owners,
not in love with majority of strangers, VERY strong, during play tending to dominate the play and have high pray drive.
We got him at 3 month old and we already knew then that he will be very large for his breed and strong headed. We tried to look up so many of training methods - everywhere - which almost all of them I regret now - all the no pull leashes we tried,
treat driven - just everything wrong. The only good thing we learned prior getting Anthony’s program was the basics of what we SHOULD ask from the dog - should not run out the door, should not pull on leash, should have the best recall possible…
The issues we had with Charlie prior this program:
- leash reactivity to mostly ALL younger males of all sizes - and I mean our dog like knew if the dog was 1 day younger!!!
- pulling on leash when exposed to distraction - dogs, forrest animals
- possession/ aggression of the house - when people come over growling
- never ever looking back at us checking with us on the walks
- medium recall without distraction off leash
- ZERO recall off leash with distraction - forrest animals, dogs, especially during the play
- happy leash reactivity - when he is happy to see someone he likes or dog he likes - sudden lounging literally lifting me
into the air (I’m 5’11 145lb)
- aggression towards submissive male labradors of all ages - no matter what submission they showed him - lying on their back, he would instantly pin them to the ground with his chest and tried to keep them in that position (I guess if not taken off forever?)- while growling and not allowing them to move. Horrible - to the nicest dogs!! for no reason no labrador has EVER bitten him. He never had a bad experience with any dog.
- turning his off leash playing with younger males egressive, jealous over his female friends, punishing the males trying to join the play
- since neutering absolutely hating the VET, growling and being very scared ( this one we had no chance to see how it’s going to be yet because we haven’t been back yet- will post update)
and ALL THESE PROBLEMS we had with CONSTANT STRICT IMMEDIATE CORRECTIONS - WITH OUR DOG BEEING 24/7 with us - maybe left alone for 2-3 hours few times in his ENTIRE life - 4-6 hours OR MORE time outside 7 days a week!!! - this is honest truth - even more when we lived in the mountains.I am yet to find a person who spends as much time with their dog like we do. He would walk him and run him many miles a day and he had so much off socialization in massive open fields dog parks in Europe. And he still did all this above!!!
I purchased Anthony’s program soon after we moved to Brooklyn in April, I purchased the program and watched all of the videos right away. I made 4 full pages of notes and found it absolutely earth shattering. I was pretty emotional about knowing how many things we were doing wrong - things I see SO many people do out there every single day.
I ordered the tool which came home at 3pm, commanded Charlie 3 times in our home as per instruction and THE SAME DAY at 6pm I take him off the leash AND THE DOG IS STANDING NEXT TO MY LEGS LOOKING AT MY FACE!!!
I couldn’t believe it, did few steps, stopped - he is looking at me stoping every time I do still by my legs, I stop and call my husband crying that I can not believe it and I can clearly see this will absolutely change our life. It was very exhausting and dangerous for all of us taking out this 70lb land shark and 2 small kids with all the issues we had.
Now this was WITHOUT distraction. Because we just started.
After 1.5 weeks - not even - my dog does:
- COMPLETE recall off leash - under any circumstances - forrest animals, passing next to dog walker holding 10 dogs,
off leash play time with other dogs
- OBEDIENCE - he CHECKS with us ALL the time turns his head back all the time to see if we don’t want anything
- zero agression at all times
- happy when people come over greets than than goes lie down on his place
- zero pulling on the leash
- I bought a bike and was able to train him into perfect biking dog, he does 7-12 miles off and on leash with me every day on this bike, trained him for the word - WAIT - which we do crossing all paths and roads we wait and look first - than release by OK.
I believe safe biking is only possible with fully trained dog like this because I tried it prior to Anthony's training and fallen 3 times in first 5 min when he pulled me distracted towards friend's dog and birds!! It was pretty painful to say at least.
We get so many compliments on him every single day. I must given Anthony’s plan out like 60 times since we did it.
Charlie has so many friends, so many playdates. He is so much happier now, he absolutely thrives right now and so do we.
He is like the perfect dog we always dreamed about. It was the best money I have ever spent. 14 most amazing years with this dog thanks to this program. And when we get a house with big garden, I am going to rescue a dog - some deeply troubled which no body wants and I am absolutely confident this will completely change the dog in few days forever. And I am going to tell everyone about it.
I am forever grateful to Anthony and really hope this plan will be seen AND applied by as many dog owners world wide.
My dog has the best life. I still can’t believe sometimes how much he listens.
