Both intact, located outside of Erickson.
Owner saying she needs them gone today.

Stray Cats of Erickson is not accepting cats at this time as I am 7 months pregnant and about to take a maternity leave.

Meet Lil Rascal 🩶
One of many kittens that belonged to Houdini, the female cat who was FINALLY trapped and spayed this September. He has been adopted 🎉

Unfortunately, Houdini hasn’t been spotted in town since her release for months. She had been a feral kitty for years and had several litters (remember the tire litter). We were hoping she could finally enjoy life and not worry about mothering kittens but it appears something may have happened to her 💔

Houdini is a grey tabby with a white belly. She has a frost bitten left ear that she suffered as a kitten. If you have seen her in the community please reach out. We just want to know she is ok.

Grateful Friends Animal Rescue will take this sweet boy, however we need to find him a ride to Winnipeg asap.

He is currently in Erickson. Is anyone heading to Winnipeg within the next week or before Feb.17th (current owners move out date)

Good news! Dick and Jane had their snap tests and they are both FIV negative 🎉 both are still up for adoption and awaiting their forever home.

Our foster messaged us with good news this morning. Aries found his way home 🎉🎉🎉

Makes you wonder what kind of adventure he had the last several days. He is happy, healthy and warm. He is reunited with his sister Ari. And yes he will remain inside. 🤞🤞🤞

Attention Erickson Community Members

Aries is missing. He was neutered on Monday therefore he is healing 😞 (the original post I made was of his sister, I mistakenly added the wrong photos). He must have ran out of his fosters house and it is very cold out. He is a sweet boy but was born feral so he is likely to be scared when approached. Thankfully his foster lives close to the area he was originally found so he may be familiar with his surroundings. Please please please keep an eye out for him.

Good morning and happy Sunday!
We are hoping to get a ride for this young boy to Erickson after his surgery is complete in Brandon. Pickup will be at Wheat City Vet Clinic, likely sometime in the afternoon.

Meet Aries ♈️

Aries is a male, short haired grey and white tabby. Michelle trapped him late September in Erickson last year as a baby (old enough to not need his mother). His mother is Houdini, the feral, female who has multiple litters in Erickson but is now spayed. Tomorrow he will be neutered and vaccinated.

He has adapted to being domesticated and is now awaiting his forever home. More info will be available after his vet appointment tomorrow afternoon.

Dick and Jane didn’t get their Christmas wish (being adopted together) but their New Year’s resolution is to find their forever home.✨😊

Still adolescents (born in April of last year) they were born as strays in Erickson. Pawing It Forwardt Pawing It Forward has spent months working with them as they were quite fearful of humans but they now LOVE human affection. 💕

Their adoption has been sponsored so as long as they find the right home (applications at www.straycatsoferickson.wordpress.com) they will not have an adoption fee.

They are fully vaccinated and fixed.

• has had surgery to partially remove his third eye lid that was stuck + covering his eye. This did affect his vision in one eye but it doesn’t seem to bother him. Likely he had a scratch which caused his third eye lid to attach onto his eye for protection at one point.

• (the beautiful calico) is extremely cuddly. Both love lounging around and playing with their toys as well as eachother.

Christmas Kitties 🥰🎄🎅🏻🧑🏻‍🎄🐈✨
Dick and Jane are spending their first Christmas (as they are adolescents + brother and sister) together + inside, warm and cozy. However their Christmas wish is to be adopted together and find their person/persons.

They were born as strays in Erickson and trapped together last summer. Since then and thanks to Jen at Pawing It Forward, they have had months of learning that people aren’t as scary as they thought. They have settled into the life of domestic house cats.

Both born last April. Dick (black and white, male, short haired) appeared to have an eye injury that caused his third eye lid to “get stuck” to his eye and does have some vision impairment in one eye only. Other than that he is perfectly happy and loves to play.

Jane is a cuddle bug who is a gorgeous calico, with very feminine kitty features. Both are fine with dogs and other cats. It may take them a bit of to come out of their shell when initially meeting or going to a new home but it didn’t take long for them to settle in together at their fosters once they realized they were safe and loved.

Blushed Beauty Studio will be donating a $50 gift certificate this Christmas to anyone who is willing to adopt these two beautiful kitties together. Both fixed + vaccinated. Their adoption fee is $50 total (for both). Please inquire by messaging us.
