This is really neat!!! I love this idea

Are you showing at Trillium Champs in a couple of weeks? This year we are celebrating Zone Spirit and we want to see your Zone pride. We want to see your horses braided in your zone colours!! (Remember neat and tidy braids are still a must). A reminder that other than coloured braids, the rest of you and your horse’s attire must still be neat and conservative in nature if you will be in the show ring.

P.S. You might want to give your braider a heads up on your zone colour before they head to the craft store for yarn😉

Check with your Zone points to see where you stand. If you are in the top 7 on your zone, you qualify for Champs. If you are not in the top 7, check the Central Points Registry to see where you stand. PLEASE REACH OUT TO US IF YOU ARE UNSURE IF YOU QUALIFY FOR CHAMPS AND WE CAN GIVE YOU SOME GUIDANCE.

Heads Up Trillium Champs Competitors!!

As we gear up for an exciting competition at Wesley Clover Parks, we want to ensure a safe and secure environment for all.

**Wesley Clover Parks is now requiring Coggins records be submitted before horses come on-site for the first time of the season.**

Reminder: Please send the following important documents to the Show Office team at [email protected] by the closing date (August 22):

Vaccination Records:
Proof of vaccinations against EIV (Equine Influenza) and EHV 1 & 4 (Equine Herpes Virus). Include your horse’s show name and the date of each vaccine. Vaccinations must be administered more than a week prior to arrival and remains valid for 6 months + 21 days.

Coggins:
A record of a negative Coggins test with a sampling date within the last 12 months is required for all horses.
Your cooperation helps us maintain a safe and healthy environment for everyone.
Thank you for your attention to these important biosecurity measures. We look forward to seeing you and your horses at the championships!

Heads up to all Champs competitors', trainers, parents - the special block of hotel rooms set aside at the Brookstreet Hotel will be released to the general public after tomorrow (July 26). If you are still thinking about booking accommodations at the Brookstreet, make sure you contact them asap!

What an outstanding weekend we had at RCRA Trillium Hunter Jumper Association!!!

Rayla Power & Aisling Princess Prada had many ribbons in the croasrails and 3rd in her C Equ! Congratulations

Danica Jody Fotherby & Oprah where reserve champion in Shorties & 3rd in her B Equ! Congratulations

FROM A PARENT:
One of my friends asked "Why do you pay so much money for your kids to ride horses?" Well I have a confession to make, I don't pay for my kids to ride horses.

So, if I am not paying for them to ride, what am I paying for?

- I pay for those moments when my kids become so tired they want to quit but don't.

- I pay for those days when my kids come home from school and are "too tired" to go to the barn but go anyway.

- I pay for my kids to learn to be disciplined.

- I pay for my kids to learn to take care of their body.

- I pay for my kids to learn to work with others and to be good team mates.

- I pay for my kids to learn to deal with disappointment, when they don't get that score they'd hoped for, but still have to work hard in the grading.

- I pay for my kids to learn to make and accomplish goals.

- I pay for my kids to learn that it takes hours and hours and hours and hours of hard work and practice to create a champion, and that success does not happen overnight.

- I pay for the opportunity my kids have and will have to make life-long friendships.

- I pay so that my kids can be in the arena instead of in front of a screen...
..I could go on but, to be short, I don't pay for horse riding, I pay for the opportunities that horse riding provides my kids with to develop attributes that will serve them well throughout their lives and give them the opportunity to bless the lives of others. From what I have seen so far I think it is a great investment!
