We are devastated by the tragic accident that happened at Bronte Creek Provincial Park this past Tuesday, resulting in the loss of Vera, a former Bark and Crew member.

Our hearts and deepest sympathies go out to her family, Shannon and Kristen. It is a difficult time for all those who knew and loved Vera.

RIP dear Vera. You will sadly missed by all.

This is the reason you only trust a certified and known pet service. One that carries all the proper business insurance, is bonded and has First Aid & CPR training. Ensure they are open with you and allow you to see where your fur baby is staying - not just a peak in the door if you are not comfortable - LEAVE. App's for dog walking and pet sitting do not vet the people that apply to work under them. Do your research.

It is with another heavy heart we say goodbye to another Crew.
Trouper passed over the Rainbow Bridge last Saturday. He will be sadly missed- not only by his family, all that walked him and his fur siblings.
RIP Sweeet Troup. 😢

This is the second dog in the last two weeks that we’ve had come in to our hospital with this type of bone stuck around it’s mandible. Separate companies but the EXACT same design.

Please do NOT buy this type of bone for your pup! It’s not worth the risk. Luckily for this patient, our technician was able to wiggle it free but our previous patient was under general anesthesia for nearly a half hour while we went through every tool in our arsenal to saw through both sides of the bone safely.
Both dogs are lucky that they did not end up with lacerations or broken teeth.

URGENT ‼️

This is Robbie. He is 3.5 years old and a English Pointer Cross. He is a really great boy! He is looking for a new home through no fault of his own.

His owner passed away and the family does not want him 😢

He is a very trained hunting dog who lives outdoors. He has not been around other pets or children as he was strictly used for hunting.

The family have tried to rehome him or surrender to a rescue- but without any luck and have now decided to euthanize him within the next couple of days.

Please share Robbie and let’s find him a home!!!
