You know how as a child you were told you ran faster with new running shoes? Well apparently as a baby puppy poodle you run faster when you have a bath and haircut! Lucky Benny has a mom that is a fabulous groomer and he looks (and feels) terrific.

Raven waiting for her family to pick her up. She will love living with 2 of her half sisters and an older sister who dotes on pups. Decided to show off how pretty she is and what a pretty mover she is..

You spin me right round...lol. Having fun with my Desi/Vito litter. ( The sound in the back ground is the others enjoying crinkly water bottles).

Just another day in puppy land.

Yellow collar on one of the spiderman chairs. All pups have loved them in every litter since I got them. I had to mend them for this litter. But it was worth it, they like snuggling in them. Also, climbing on them when they are playful.

They puppies first actual vacuum experience. Some were nervous but their recovery is what is important. See another post of the photo of them laying beside later.

Desi/Vito pups causing a ruckus and having fun at five weeks old today.

The Desi/Vito pups will be four weeks old tomorrow! Where does the time go? This week they will get their face and feet shaved, and also will get solid food. For NOW they are in their new space. AND YES I TALK baby talk to them...well because they are my wonderful babies (puppies) who make me very happy. Girls are available to make someone's life happy too.

So cold and windy in Port Stanley along Lake Erie. No fishing for a while.

A playful girl that is enjoying a block of ice in her yard, and her parents are enjoying her having such fun. She stops a few times to investigate lights and something else she wanted to check out...and you can see her absolute lovely structure She is shaved down and you can see how a well put together poodle should look like. Beautiful and Fun that is what a Bronwyn/Connor pup is.

It was nice to have a mild day, I thought I would get rid of the last of the leaves in the dog pen. Mimi (and Cosi) thought they would take the opportunity to have some fun.

The Pups were Seven Weeks old this week. We had a busy few days with temperament testing on Thursday and Friday, and visitors on Saturday. We finally put them on the porch and we realised how much they have grown since we set it up. They need more room. But they enjoyed it, and it was good for them to hear the neighbour's party sounds, lawnmowers, all the sounds of summer.

The Desi / Majic Pups are Six Weeks. They have been romping inside due to the very hot weather outside, or the thunderstorms. They have heard SO much thunder from the storms they have had first hand exposure. BUT If you listen closely you will hear some of the myriad of sounds from the library of sounds playing as they frolic (that plus the yo gabba mat).

A very short video of the pups enjoying the toothbrush. You get to see their pretty little selves as they interact with it and Jackson. (Also great time for them to get used to hats, glasses and beards on people...lol) See also when Blue Collar boy backed away from the toothbrush he came right back around and started to climb up on Jackson....this is great to see.

Our Story

The love of a Standard Poodle will change your life. The responsibility of breeding to enhance the Standard Poodle is not to be taken lightly. Health, Structure, Temperament are just a few of the keys to breeding with the betterment of the breed in mind. Our Poodles have Conformation titles in both Canadian Kennel Club and United Kennel Club. This is to ensure that are poodles are bred to the breed standard. Titles in Rally Obedience and Obedience, Canine Good Neighbour Certifications are stepping stones to owning Poodles with friendly, intelligent temperaments. Diligent health testing (hips,eyes, dna, heart etc.) is paramount and done on our poodles. We keep educated on new tests as they come available and utilise them. All of our poodles also have UC Davis Diversity profiles.

If you are interested in one of our poodles be aware that we breed very infrequently. All of our poodles reside in our home and they are members of our family. We do not breed our Poodles continuously, just to have puppies to sell. We breed them because we are looking for our next family member, our next poodle to enjoy showing and doing performance with and to love. While we love having a litter of puppies and we get immense joy from watching them develop, we do not just breed our dogs for the sake of breeding. We feel no bitch needs to have litter after litter, back to back and from the earliest age they can be bred. This is our credo and we realise and accept that other Standard Poodles breeders may choose a different path.
