Once the adventure is over they will spend the rest of the time cuddled on your couch ❤️🤣👍

This announcement of changes to the recently announced U.S. CDC rules about bringing a dog into the U.S. - even for a short time are a great improvement.

But we still need to address the stipulation that a puppy can not come into the U.S. until age 6 months having been vaccinated for rabies.
Very few breeders will raise a puppy until that age and not keep it. And most new owners will want to socialize and train their own puppies to ensure those pups get the attention they need at that age.

My American friends - Please call your Congressman or Senator and add your voice to this challenge! Canada has been labeled a rabies free country for many years. I’m sure these new rules did not intend to penalize our country or the US dog community who become the forever home of many of our purebred dogs!

Port Alberni, BC Canada people are great, their shows are always fun. Maybe you would like to take this course ?

Anyone want to learn ring stewarding? Alberni Kennel Club has a mentor set up for August 6 & 7 show in Courtenay. Ring stewarding is a great way to learn another aspect of dog shows and a way to earn a little pocket money. Ring stewards are in big demand. Please message Lisa Tremblay if you are interested.
