Meet Bucee, a three-year-old Beauceron and Black Lab mix whose gentle heart has survived far more than any dog should. After being neglected, tied to a tree, and left to fend for himself through storms and long lonely nights, Bucee was eventually rescued and given the safety he had been longing for.

A year in foster care has allowed him to bloom into a loving, loyal companion who enjoys his walks, loves exploring, and happily relaxes beside his people once he’s had his exercise. He bonds deeply with those who show him kindness and continues to grow with steady reassurance.

Bucee gets along well with other dogs and has even lived peacefully with small ones. He’s still a bit unsure about cats but is steadily improving with guidance and patience.

After everything he’s overcome, Bucee is ready for a forever home where he can finally feel safe, cherished, and understood. His past may have been painful, but his future can be full of love — he’s just waiting for the person who will give him that chance.

Pandora is a sweet 7.5-week-old mix who recently arrived from Manitoba with her sisters, and she’s already stealing hearts in her foster home. Playful, affectionate, and full of puppy charm, this little girl adores her foster family and is settling in beautifully.

Pandora loves to explore, play with her toys, and soak up all the excitement that comes with being a puppy — but she’s just as quick to curl up for snuggles. She thrives on attention and affection, always wanting to be close to her humans as she discovers the world around her. 🥹💗

Like all young pups, Pandora is learning the ropes of life. She’s making great progress with crate training and is beginning to understand house training (still in progress, of course!). With a bit of patience and consistency, she’ll master it in no time.

🎅 Calling All Santas & Photographers! 📸

Pawsitively Furever is hosting our annual Santa Paws Portraits on Dec 6th & Dec 7th, and we’re looking for two amazing volunteers:

✨ 1 Santa – someone jolly, friendly, and great with dogs! Santa suit provided.
✨ 1 Professional Photographer

These events help raise funds for our rescue, and all proceeds go directly to the animals in our care. 💚🐾

📍 Dec 6th – Ren’s Pets, Waterloo (12PM–4PM). May have a photographer but not confirmed.

📍 Dec 7th – Transitions Acres, Tavistock (1PM–4:30PM). Pictures may be inside or outside.
