Our Story

Let me introduce you to Nicki Muller, we are so happy that so many of you have decided to like our page that I thought I’d write up a little bio so you know a little bit more about her. Nicki, who began her career training morgans and saddlebreds switched to arabians and has never looked back. She is a talented multi discipline trainer who has trained and coached junior and amateur riders to National titles in show hack, dressage, english pleasure, country pleasure, costume, hunter pleasure, side saddle, western pleasure and sport horse, both in-hand and under saddle. She is always very proud of the accomplishments of her amateur riders. One of her greatest joys she says, is to “watch her students show and do well”. She doesn’t boast about her own accomplishments much but she has an impressive show record of her own. Just looking back on the AHA website, in the last few years she has earned five US National Titles, thirty-four Canadian National Titles and eighty Regional Titles including seventeen Championships, included also are many Scottsdale and Canadian Breeders Titles as well. She has excelled in every discipline, most recently has taken her amateur riders to US and Canadian National Titles in dressage, sport horse and halter. Excelsior stables has a fun and friendly atmosphere, Nicki makes everyone feel welcome and no matter what your discipline or experience level everyone has a good time. It’s fun to watch the young walk-trotters starting out as well as seeing how the young horses progress under Nicki’s guidance. It really is a barn family and everyone is truly supportive. If you’re looking for a trainer or a coach, come talk to Nicki, see what she can offer for you and your horse. Even though her focus has been on arabians, all breeds are welcome. In her own words Nicki says: “I am very lucky to have the talented horses and supportive owners I have in my barn. Each new horse I train provides me with a new opportunity to be a part of something great for both the horse and owner.”
