🚨📌 BEWARE OF KIBBLE MARKETING TRICKS! 🚨📌

Animal protein should be the first ingredient in any quality pet food—ideally, the first two ingredients. But kibble marketers know this and use it to trick you into thinking their food is higher in protein than it really is.

Here’s the catch: The ingredient list shows items from most to least by weight, but this weight is measured before the food is processed. Fresh meats, like chicken or beef, contain a lot of water, while meals, like chicken meal or beef meal, don’t.

When kibble is made, fresh chicken might be listed as the first ingredient. But remember, chicken is about 70% water. Once processed, it loses most of its weight, which means the actual protein content from chicken ends up being much lower in the final product.

For example, if a food lists chicken as 40% of the ingredients, after drying, it might only be 12% chicken. The rest? Likely corn meal or other fillers. 🌽

Below is a 9 month journey of a gelding that is very close to my heart💙🐴

Over this period we began a healing that went deep into “held” compensation patterns within his body, which was presenting as continuous lameness in his hind end( note this lameness has not been present since April 2024)

Starting with communication and bodywork sessions gave me direction into his root issues. Next was
supporting him with a consistent diet which comprised of custom herbal blends ( that I made), whole feed blends fromNatural Earth Blends and single ingredient whole feeds from CS Feeds🌱

The key here was giving him the time he required to figure it all out and let his body show how magical it is! I believe these pictures show just that🪄✨

Had the absolute pleasure of attending the Pedro Torres clinic in Olds AB this past weekend, not as a rider, but as a vendor with my other passion Natural Earth Blends.
I had the pleasure of meeting horses and their humans that I have worked with remotely for awhile now. To be able to have this opportunity was very magical✨

This gelding who I should mention is 22 years young has been with his new caregiver roughly 8 months now and has been having some mobility issues. She said she has never seen him run inside or outside. 😐
This little clip was after my very first session with him… needless to say his caretaker was full of glee to witness this🐎🐎

His session was a combination of communication and intuitively focused bodywork to address root issues that were holding him in a state of discomfort.⚖️
