This , we pay tribute not only to those who served our country bravely on two legs, but on four as well. For decades, military working dogs have aided missions, found bombs and protected troops alongside their handlers. Loyal K9 soldiers like bomb-sniffing Labs or guarding German Shepherds work tirelessly too, with unconditional devotion. To all the retired furry veterans out there - thank you for your service and service with honour. We honour your heroic paw-tnership today and every day. For those still deployed, please come home safe to your loved ones soon.

Happy Birthday to our fearless leader, Pixie!

Today, we celebrate not only our co-founder's special day but also the incredible impact she's had on our community and the lives of those around her. As a devoted dog mom, Pixie knows firsthand the transformative power of the human-pet connection. During a difficult time in her life, her furry friends became her beacon of hope, providing purpose and motivation to persevere. (If you know our company story hence how Paw'ty Waggin came to be).

With a heart full of love and a spirit that refuses to be dimmed, Pixie channeled her experiences into creating a safe haven for pets and their humans to thrive. Her tireless advocacy for mental wellness, community engagement, and indigenous representation is a testament to her bravery, sharing lived experiences and compassion.

As we celebrate Pixie's birthday today, we're reminded of the profound difference she's made in the lives of those around her. Her unwavering dedication to our Paw'ty Waggin' family is the paw-fect reflection of her generous spirit. Cheers to our "Golden Eagle"

Reflecting on this Indigenous Veteran’s Day.

We celebrate Indigenous Veterans Day each year on November 8 to ensure Indigenous Peoples are recognized for their service in past conflicts, service that may not have been acknowledged at the time. Today is the 30th anniversary of this commemorative date and we thank all Indigenous CAF members, past and present, for their service to Canada.
