Hi Everyone,

I have been going through the messages and contacting people but FB is not reliable. So thought I would put it here as well. We are opening up several spots in our upcoming Sports Obedience class starting this Friday. This is a mandatory prerequisite to get into our Agility Foundations class.

We will send you the info but an etransfer is needed to save your spot. Please email me at [email protected]. This course is already half full with repeat students so don’t wait to sign up! It fills SO fast! I have messaged several people but I only give people a day to respond before I move down the list.

Hope you can come play with us! Going to be a great summer of training!

We have an exciting ANNOUNCEMENT!

Lisa Petterson, a very well known and knowledgeable Canine Conditioning instructor is coming to the TailBlazers Training Centre May 24/25! There will be working spots available as well as lots of auditing! We will have both beginner and advanced groups. Indoors in a clean, safe environment in Downtown Courtenay. Spots are limited and this seminar will be open for registration soon.

Lisa is an agility competitor and wealth of information and no matter what sport you do you should have knowledge on sport conditioning as well as the basics in place in case you ever have to rehab your dog. This is a must see!

More info to come as we get closer to the date but you can get on the wait list now! Don’t miss out…

We have had some openings for Advanced/masters students on Mondays if anyone is interested? Come run in our TailBlazers Training Centre in Courtenay! We have some challenging drills and get to run a full course as well!

Hi All,

We are ready to start new classes!! I have contacted some of you to start on Sunday, March 16th for our Sports Obedience class which is a prerequisite to our Agility classes. I will continue to contact people if I do not hear from the ones that I messaged.

If I did not contact you this round do not worry! We will be offering 2 more classes in April. These will be night classes on Fridays.

Stay tuned... we will slowly work through all the messages and get everyone in eventually! Please have patience. :)

Hi All,

I got some short clips of the dogs running this week at the new Training Centre. SO thrilled! We are still under construction but the dogs had a blast!

We have fences down the middle and then take them out for the final course. So much fun and great training with distractions. 😊😊😊

I will be adding classes for brand new people soon so stay tuned! Watch this page for announcement!

Hi All!

Sorry I have been absent from this page but we have had absolutely NO room for new people. Well… this will change soon….

We have leased a space on 5th street on Courtenay and are in the midst of making it ours. We will have agility mats for flooring and it will be painted shortly.

We will be doing other sports in there too, Obedience, Rally, Pet Grooming Clinics, Agility and much more!

Stay tuned for our opening announcements. We are so happy to have a spot to expand on some good, positive dog training and to serve all dogsports in our community! More info coming soon!

UPDATE…. This Seminar is SOLD OUT for working spots and I have started a wait list.
There is still Auditing available! Don’t miss out!

TailBlazers has two Masters spots available for our Karen Childs Seminar Oct 24-27 this fall.... One in the Thursday/Friday group and one in the Saturday/Sunday group as well as one spot left in the Friday Contacts and weaves. This seminar will be held at Springhill... lots of room and we will have fencing up as well as crating in the barn if preferred.
We have such a great group of people coming!! Don't miss out!! Karen is so knowledgeable and fun!!

Hi All, I am having trouble accessing my messages. Will figure it out soon. We are really full so will revisit new students/classes in the fall. There just is no more time to rent in the barn. Hoping things change soon so we can start more people.
