ISO for a client

A client of mine recently lost their horse and now is left with just one horse at home in need of a friend.

Criteria:
-Husband horse, trail safe and sound.
-can live out 24/7
-around 15hh
-Good with dogs and kids on ground at least
-Preference mare but gelding who has lived with mares could work

Budget mid 4 digits

Please share there is a very sad mare who needs a friend!

Winter can be a tricky time for horse enthusiasts, if you are not lucky enough to have access to an indoor, but even then sometimes we just can't keep the momentum through the frigid months. I'll be hosting live webinars with Q&A segments all through the winter. Keep going with your progress, with a tea and fuzzy socks and be ready to jump back in the saddle with your knew found knowledge come spring 😁

I use the 4 leaf clover pattern a lot in lessons, it can be a difficult one to master at first for both horse and rider. For awhile I've been telling my students I'd have proof it can be done at a lope, so here it is!😁 Patterns like this are great for every level of horse and rider, there are always ways to make it more challenging. Going faster, adding transitions, changes of direction, collection; even leg yielding! You are only limited by your imagination 😉 and yes this is the same distance I make you all do in leasons 😉 5-6 paces from the middle cone.

“Keep your weight on your heels” just as important on the ground as in the saddle. Keeping your elbows close to you and your weight back will prepare you in case your horse bolts or pulls. If you have your weight forward on your toes and your arm out even if the horse doesn’t pull very hard you could lose your balance and stumble forward, or lose the horse 😉 // « Gardez votre poids sur vos talons » tout aussi important au sol qu'en selle. Garder vos coudes près de vous et votre poids en arrière vous préparera au cas où votre cheval s'emballe ou tire. Si vous avez votre poids vers l'avant sur vos orteils et votre bras tendu même si le cheval ne tire pas très fort, vous pourriez perdre l'équilibre et trébucher en avant, ou perdre le cheval 😉
