Fischer lovebird baby looking to fly the coop🥰
Pm for more details!
Baby Budgie looking for a new perch to make his home! Handfed as a baby so super friendly and handtame as well as having some English Budgie dna in there so he may grow larger than a standard. If you’d like more info please send a private message!
These four babies will be looking to fly the coop in about a month or as soon as they're weaned. They're Yellow Sided split to Pineapple and are hand fed and DNA'd. Please private message for more information.
Hello fellow bird lovers! I am considering making nesting boxes soon and was curious as to what the market is out there for them. If you or someone you know would buy one drop a like if you're willing.
And as said before feel free to join the group as there will be more pictures and info on there.
Thanks for reading!

This is our group instead of a page in case facebook flags the page. A lot of pages have been getting flagged so if you'd like to continue seeing all the pictures please head to the group. Sorry for the inconvenience and we hope to see you on the group to continue enjoying all the baby bird photos!
The baby lovebirds are growing up wonderfully and are almost all feathered in except for the youngest who is still getting there.
Baby cockatiels🥰 DNA results have been delayed until the end of next week now, unfortunately
And the lovebird babies are feathering in! The third baby is a little behind in feathering due to his age but I’m sure a week or so from now I’ll post pics of him as well.
The baby Budgies are growing well and are starting to fly now! They have started to wean as well and love to make a mess of their seeds 😂
Merry Christmas to all from Feathered Friends!
DNA results should be arriving next week around Thursday or Friday🥰
The baby budgies are getting super cute! ❤️
Baby budgies🥰
Unfortunately, the DNA results are delayed in coming since the mail takes longer to deliver around this time of year. I've been told it might take up to a month before I get the results, but hopefully it will come sooner. 🙂 Either way, the chicks are doing very well so far, and they've been flying lots lately! They're so playful and active and so full of varying characters! 🥰 Names are still welcome as they don't have any yet! 😁
The cockatiel chicks had their DNA sent out a few days ago so the results should be here near the end of next week. Anyone want to take a guess as to what you think they might be? 💙❤️😊
These three cockatiel chicks are looking for names. They haven't been DNA'd yet so I'm looking for something gender neutral. The oldest is a normal grey, the second is a pied, and the youngest is a whiteface pied. 🥰
With Christmas holidays coming up I thought a post showing some of the dangers that could harm our feathered companions would be a decent ideas.
Feel free to add to or suggest other alternatives that work for you😊🎄
1. Christmas Trees - real trees can be sprayed with various chemicals and fertilizers that can be harmful to our birds.
-Older Artificial trees can give off dangerous fumes if heated (such as next to a fireplace). Although the tree may be an exciting place for your bird to explore, when you have larger birds (such as a macaw) they could possibly knock over the tree potentially hurting themselves.
2. Ornaments - sparkling ornaments can definitely intrigue a lot of birds or completely frighten them. Parrots love to explore by tearing things apart which can be dangerous with small pieces on ornaments which can also be a choking hazard or have toxens on them. This applies to tinsel and garland as well.
3. Holiday Plants - Some of the favourite holiday plants can be toxic to birds and other animals if ingested. These include
-Poinsettia
- English Ivy
-Holly
-Mistletoe
-Yew
-Juniper
These plants are fine to use so long as they are not in a location where your bird can get to them cause as all bird owners know our little friends are very curious and often like to test things out with their beaks.
4. Nonstick Cookware - one of the greater dangers to birds are non stick bakeware and cookware. When heated they emit odourless fumes that can kill a bird within hours. Always use a ventilation fan when cooking and don’t keep birds near the kitchen.
5. Candles and Air fresheners - once again candles and air fresheners can give off dangerous fumes and a lot of air fresheners even say on the can they are unsafe for birds. Our feathered companions have small lungs and can be affected by small things like a candle burning and giving off fumes in a short period of time. If you want to freshen up your home with Christmas vibes try boiling orange slices with cinnamon sticks instead.
Have a safe and happy holiday season with your feathered pets 🎄❄️ 🦜
