Ranch Camp is the highlight of summer and it’s no secret they tend to fill up very early so we have added a week AND added evening camps which are complete with an evening bonfire!

I just wanted to take a second and give some appreciation to the Boss/Bonnie my mother. This will be around the 37th summer she has done Ranch Camps, she taught me, and now my kids are in the arena helping teach and watching them want to help is so extremely special. Horses teach us so much about life and they also bring us together in so many ways and Bonnie has created such a beautiful space, share that with all of you.

Over the many years that we have run Ranch Camps we have had so many helpers/wranglers that help make these camps run smooth and safely. We are extremely blessed to have each one of you come into the Sandhills family at some point in time. Thankyou so much for all you do and the smiles you bring to Sandhills. This of coarse is not even half of the helpers we have had over the years, we will have to dig out some even older photos :)

3 Monday evenings of one on one time with a horse! Perfect for ages 10-100 , all of this program will be done from the ground as you learn how to catch , halter and work safely with a horse all while THEY are teaching you how they think & navigate obstacles!

Had to send a shout out to these awesome gals today!

We are so grateful that they love being at the barn & with our horses SO much they spend extra time on weekends & camp days with us to help us run our peewee classes & more …

We couldn’t run our classes for the little cowpokes without their help!

Thank you gals for showing up with a huge smile, ready to work & sharing your love of horses with the littles ❤️

So grateful for you always !

Saturday was a wonderful kickoff into the 2023 year, we had some gals out for a training program - learning some new skills & adding to our junior leadership team so we have all hands on deck with our youngest cowpokes as we move further into the 2023 season 🐴

Friday is usually the day I post weekend events but I'll refer you to my NYE post 2 back in my feed because honestly, those are the biggies! Instead today, I'm sharing camps & workshops going on next week in Saskatoon. If you live here & have kids out of school, this one's for you:

🐎 Elevation Equestrian horse daycamp is Jan 4-6, 9am-3pm for kids aged 6-8. $350

🐎 Sandhills Stable is offering one day camps Jan 3, 4, 5, or 6 10am-3pm. $98.75/day.

👨‍💻 Code Ninjas has designed camps for budding coders 8+ Jan 3-6. There are Minecraft & Roblox programs. $229

🦊 Saskatoon Zoo Society hosts Zoo Camp Jan 3-6 9am-4pm for ages 7-12. It's currently waitlisted but worthwhile getting your name on there. $220

🏃‍♂️ We Move SK now has January camp! Jan 2-6, 9am-4pm for kids K-age 13. Dancing, tumbling, crafts, & more. $300 or $75/day.

🏊‍♀️ YMCA of Saskatoon School's Out Daycamps run Jan 3-6 with extended care morning and afternoon reaching a possible 7:30am-6pm. Ages 5-13. $75/ day.

🤸‍♀️ Marian Gymnastics Club has full & half days available Jan 3-6 for kids 4-12 with the option to do one day camps or the full week. Full week 9am-4pm $260.

🧗‍♂️ Clip 'n Climb Saskatoon "Clip and Discover" or "Clip and Create" one day camps for 7-12 are available Jan 3, 4, 5 9am-4pm with morning half day option. Full is $89/day.
