Poor Ricky!

He needs a foster home ASAP.

Ricky is a two-year-old St. Bernard cross that is getting bullied by other dogs on the property. There is a very real fear that the other dogs on the property may do him serious harm if we don’t take him into care soon. To save him from getting injured (or worse), we need a committed foster home. CARS will supply you with everything you need to care for Ricky, and foster homes also get first opportunity to adopt in the event you fall in love with this big, gentle fella. Watch his video in the comments. He’s lovely!

Dominik is still looking for his new home! 🐶 🏠

Dominik is fairly well disciplined, 6 year old shepherd mix. Neutered and vaccinations are upto date. He sometimes a little too excited, great with families, kids and other pets. He has got lots of love to give. Fully potty and crate trained and knows house rules. He gets along with most dogs and cats.

He does have some separation anxiety although he is used to staying upto 8 hours in a crate by himself while we are at work. He also likes to alert when there is a knock on the door, we are training him to walk away from the door and not bark and this is work in progress. Once the guest at the door is welcomes by us he mingles fairly well.

We have a toddler and I’m pregnant with another one. We have limited capacity for a dog now. It breaks my heart to rehome him but it’s fair to him.

Hi, my name is Bugs, and I am the biggest love bug you will ever meet!
Me and my brother Benji love to run around and play with all our friends.
From country to city living, we’re ready for any new adventures that come our way. At our foster home we have 3 German Shepherd siblings, and a cat.
We also get to run with chickens, turkeys, and quail on the acreage. We really have done it all.
I am outgoing at times but for the most part all I want to do is cuddle up close. When you first greet me, I’ll probably flop down to the ground and want my belly rubbed. I have so much love to give.
I am surprisingly quiet for my age and people tell me that I sleep very well throughout the night. I am sure to make a perfect addition to any active and loving family.

Do you remember the BBQ kittens?

Let us introduce you to Yoda, Minnie and Oreo.

Yoda is the one to warm up to people faster. Known for playing with his foster mom’s feet and getting in some snuggle time.

Minnie maybe shy at first but when she becomes comfortable she is known for reaching up your legs with her front paws asking to be picked up.

Oreo is also shy at first but known for showing her belly when she becomes comfortable with you. This girl also does not like closed doors. Known for jumping at doors handles to try and open closed doors. Loves to freely roam her home.

Sweet and submissive. Incredibly gentle Male Puppy (Born Nov 2023) Pointer-Lab-Alberta Special mix. We'll call him Cole. Life has not been great for this pup so far. Let's try and change that.

Jenny was adopted by her foster parents last year after having a double hip replacement due to severe hip dysplasia. She was under a year old, and her condition was affecting her mobility and happiness. Her foster parents were there with her every step of the way through both surgeries and the lengthy healing process.

Fast forward to the present…..

Jenny was a super star in her training classes, passing with flying colors. She did so incredibly well, she’s moving onto agility. No stopping this amazingly resilient puppy and her family now! This Fall will be filled with fun and laughter, and that’s just about as good as it gets 😊

Desi is available for ADOPTION to an active, loving family home.

Who Loves a Border Collie/Heeler mix?!
We do…and so does his foster home.

He is 3 years old, size would be small side of Medium, UTD on vaccinations and neutered.

Desi is learning to love his crate, one bite of chicken at a time. He gets so excited to have his playtime in the yard with his fosters female dog, and afterwards, a nice couch snuggle with his foster Mom. Desi is responding well to house training but still requires a certain amount of supervision. This boy is friendly, kind, surprisingly quiet and enjoys being around people, both big and small.
Desi is no doubt going to be a great family dog, but the family must be active. With adequate exercise in a home with consistent, clear expectations and some experience with higher energy breeds, Desi will shine.

Adopt Big Puppy Boy Bentley!

Large Mixed Breed Puppy – Male - 9 months old – Fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.

Bentley has been on our website for a long time with very little interest, and we have no idea why?

-Bentley is an adorable, goofy, lovely lap dog in an oversized puppy body
-He is full of energy and super friendly
-He gets along extremely well with the other foster dog in the home as well as the cat
-He would do ok by himself as an only pet but would probably love to have a canine sibling
-Bentley is crate trained and sleeps well throughout the night

Got to meet Olaf!

Olaf is a friendly guy who loves to hang out and watch the world go by. He is playful and loves to be brushed, which is a good thing because his coat is beautiful and fluffy.
Plays well with his foster brothers and he is learning that dogs can be a lot of fun!! He is fully litter trained and after one correction he is happy to use a scratching post. Does well with older children and should be fine with younger ones aswell.

Juno is honestly one of the coolest cats. She is very shy at first. It took her a few weeks to be comfortable. She started getting cuddly (on her terms of course ) probably after a month, snuggling on the couch and even in bed.

She is absolutely the best jumper her foster mom ever met. She loves being high up so they have a few high window hammocks and cat trees which she loves. Juno enjoys playing, even. Foster has a box of cat toys in her living room and has seen her just go right in and pick out whichever toy she wants to take and play with, and she loves when you play with her as well.

Her "flaws" which kind of make her cooler, and aren't actual flaws as long as you know these facts . She likes her food and treats so she has gone into the treat box before and ripped the bag open. Foster mom has learned to hide them!

She loves going in the window. In the kitchen she jumps up into the open window to people watch but never pushes through the screen, just likes to sit in the fresh air!

Juno recently discovered she is afraid of moving shadows. After she gets scared she needs her space and she does not need soothing or she will be more scared when you try touching her!

Tito came into the rescue the beginning of July from a breeding operation dispersal. His apricot-colored hair was dirty and smelly. He was scared and under socialized, which is so incredibly sad for a 5-month-old puppy. Good news (actually, GREAT news) is that his foster family and his new brother have helped him flourish and love him so much that he was officially adopted today! Congratulations Tito.

*ADOPTED* Hi everyone. Meet Cash - an adorable male mixed breed 11-week-old puppy. Out of all his siblings, Cash is the gentlest, most calm, sweet, and affectionate of the bunch. He is on the submissive side and often looked to his litter mates for assurances in new situations, but it doesn’t take long for him to come out of his shell and join the fun. He would benefit from being placed in a home with another balanced dog that he can learn from. Cash’s adoptive family should take time to expose him to new situations to help build his confidence with patience and positive reinforcement. He loves to play fetch and tug on a rope. He’s very gentle so he could easily be in a home with young children if they are gentle with him too. Cash is very smart and has learned sit, down, shake-a-paw and high-five in one day!
