We are extremely happy with the acceptance our Glenhammond labradors have received in both the U.S. We are attempting to use the very best bloodlines that we can access, with an emphasis on British working lines. Please don’t confuse these with the “British” show dog types. Our dogs are bred for game finding ability, trainability, distinct on/off switch so they work with drive but then turn off to

snuggle. Most importantly they are bred for health and soundness. We depend on x-ray results and genetic testing of all our breeding stock. Who should consider owning a Glenhammond labrador? They are very trainable for games like field trials, hunt tests, agility, obedience, water sports, etc. They are super dogs for families that want to include a dog in plenty of outdoor activities. As one person said “They are the kind of dog that makes your buddies jealous and your wife fall in love with”

Congratulations to Jim Peters and his 2 labs from Glenhammond Kennels! “Jack” Glenhammond Cross Road Blues (Yellow lab) received another pass into Master hunter test and “Bo” Glenhammond Beaufort (black lab) has received 2 passes at the Junior Hunt test after only 8 weeks of training!!!

We are pleased to introduce our new stud dog.
Glenhammond Hilton Hill "Hilton" is a son of a FTCH Lettergreen Ollalieberry "Oscar" of Southern Oaks Kennels. We believe that he is the first son of an Irish Field Trail Champion to stand in Atlantic Canada.

Hilton is from a Granddaughter of our foundation Bitch and British import Brogdenview Pendle Sunset "Piper".

Hilton is enjoying his first fall hunting season in the New Brunswick Uplands.

Our aim is to use the very best of British working lines to produce the best possible dogs for the Sportsmen, Field Trial Enthusiast, Hunter, Weekend Warrior or just a family companion dog.

The British working lines are world renown for:
Trainability
Soundness
Disposition
Athletic ability
Uncanny Steadiness
All these traits make them great in the field but able to switch off at home or in the blind.
