Apple ❤️
Apple is adorable. In every way, really. She’s beyond cute to look at and her little snout is always searching for snuggles!A remarkable heart, this girl has. Coming from such an awful situation, she is still drawn towards connecting with us humans. Beautiful. Apple has a diagnosis of squamous cell carcinoma in her mouth. It is currently being determined with an oncologist whether surgery to remove the tumour and part of her jaw is the better option over chemotherapy. The perfect addition to your family. She’s available for fostering or adoption. We just want her in a home to recover! We have not yet tested her with dogs or cats but will certainly work with you to make proper introductions if you have other pets in your home. Come get Apple! Meko & Mia 🩷
We face heavy decisions daily in rescue work.
Breaking up a bonded pair is right up there with the worst of them. Gut wrenching, really.
What’s happening with Meko & Mia is unique and so horribly sad.
Meko continues to decline rapidly and is now considered palliative.
Mia is already mourning the loss of her healthy, playful sidekick.
If they can’t go together, then we’re choosing the immediate heartbreak of separation so that Meko can be in a home for his final days.
No one really wins in this one. We’re just trying to mitigate pain.

Bandit will steal your heart … if you give him the chance.
He was surrendered in 2017 for being protective. Another misunderstood Border Collie.
Imagine that.
So intelligent, he’s eager to please and will play fetch for hours. He’s an active boy but also starting to slow down with age.
A family that is willing to come for multiple visits to start the relationship off right is what we’re looking for. Ideally a home where he is the only dog.

From the tip of his tail to the curl of his ears, Tonny is a feast for the eyes. Stunning.
And, you guys, the way he hugs is the most wondrous surprise!
All muscle, this boy is built to move, play and run. A family that can match him will be guaranteed years of fun.
He chooses his dog friends wisely and would do best in an active, adult home. He will make the best running partner. You won’t need motivation to get moving, he’ll show you the way!
He came to us in November 2023. There’s no way we want to celebrate a year anniversary here.
He needs a family. That fact is crystal clear.

Gally is good to go, go, go … straight into a forever home!
Gally is beautiful, sweet and energetic and still learning to not jump up with excitement. He is so smart and will learn to stop jumping but definitely won’t stop loving!
His epilepsy is managed well with medication. Don’t let another day go by without this gorgeous guy, Gally at your side!
