Meet Chase & Nanuq!
Thankfully we were able to get them out of there in time. Now, we gotta get these gorgeous guys out of here β¦ and straight into your home!
Can you say cuddle bears? They are so darn cute!!!
Not a bonded pair, both of these boys are currently being assessed and are up for adoption.
Get that application in and letβs make their time at Dog Tales just a stop-in, not a stay!

They all belong with families. We bring them to life, it is our responsibility to care for them for life.Bella is looking for a home at Dog Tales Rescue β€οΈ More about Bella: Bella is a smart and lovable dog! This pup knows every trick in the book! Bella is very active and could play fetch and swim all day long. This sweet girl was surrendered to us with a past of abuse and neglect. This makes it hard for Bella to trust people and other dogs. She will need lots of guidance and slow introductions when meeting people, and she should not interact with other dogs. Bella has learned many ways to manage her nerves around strangers and will need a confident owner to implement her training. Bella would do best in an adult-only home with a fully fenced backyard.
Run to the shelter to get your Motherβs Little Helper!
Wishing everyone a Happy Motherβs Day π
Sending love to those who might find this day difficult from all of us at Dog Tales.
While weβre having a little fun with this video, in all seriousness, there is something so special about the bond that emerges when you choose to adopt a rescue dog.
They know. And you will too. Itβs the kind of love that defies description β€οΈ

Ahhhhh, bliss. Stormy indulging in a little self-care is good for our soul!
Come on now, who is taking this beauty home?
π
Stormy is a 2 Year Old, Pomeranian. This cutie is a ball of fluff and love! Stormy is super cuddly and loves to zoom around. Stormy would do well in a home with dogs and children. She has a history of seizures, therefore her forever family will have to monitor her condition and administer medication. In return, sheβll give you endless love!
Honey Bunnies? Funny Bunnies? Easter Bunnies! Yes! Happy Easter from all our bunnies to yours π₯π§‘Coal π° Nevo π° Honey π°
βHaving a place to go is a home. Having someone to love is a family. Having both is a blessing.β On this Family Day, can we create blessings for some of our Dog Tales residents? Juneau is one of so many looking for a place to go and someone to love β£οΈ https://www.dogtales.ca/juneau

Heβs aged well, our handsome boy. But, well β¦ we wish we hadnβt been the ones to witness it. Domino is one of the first 20 dogs rescued here at Dog Tales. Sadly, that means he has been here far too long. He was originally surrendered to us in 2015. Adopted twice but it never worked out. The shelter has been his home most of the time. Dearest Domino is part of our Holiday Wish program and we are dreaming (hard!) for the day he gets to find a family. Learn more about Domino π https://www.dogtales.ca/domino

Elephants are magnificent. Arguably somewhat magical. On World Elephant Day it is right to honour our planetβs largest land animal. There is a lot to marvel at!
And while we are in awe of their size, letβs revere their spirit. Did you know that elephants can recognize themselves in a mirror? They have large, complex brains and intricate social structures with the capacity for altruism.
Now if only we could return this energy.
Kindly watch this video so that you may feel empowered to preserve and protect these beautiful animals, in particular Lucy, who continues to languish unnecessarily in an Edmonton zoo.

The Mayor of Hebron has announced that for every dead stray dog brought to them the person will be awarded with 20 shekels ($6). Many of the Hebron people are torturing, killing and laughing while documenting their barbaric behaviour then posting videos to their social media platforms.
We cannot fathom the enjoyment they find in torturing and killing helpless stray dogs who are just trying to survive.
Please share for these dogs. The people in Hebron's government need to see sense, compassion and humanity. We need to take care of this now and ensure that if anyone has this idea in the future they will think twice after seeing the world's response to this atrocity.
To fight for these dogs and make your voice heard email Hebron's government:

Please email Dog Tales ([email protected]) if you have any way to get the dogs out of Hebron as we would like to assist in any way we can.
Let's work together to stop this now.
