Well it finally happened. Frampt committed a crime we've been practicing for years for - stealing off the counter. He stole half a corn cob and went running away with it. He has a history of resource guarding when he was a puppy but luckily we have been practicing for years on how to "trade". I grabbed a bag of high value treats and cued "Trade!" He quickly spat it out and sat for me. Picked up the corn cob and gave him the treats. "Trade" as a skill is important for every dog to learn, especially if they have a history of resource guarding.

🐶Meet the Dogs🐶
I couldn't ask for a better duo - Frampt and Kainé
Breed ambassadors for Windsprites; they are the only two in Manitoba (For now!)
Our lives are too busy right now to compete, but we have fun training in agility, disc, and barn hunt. In his younger years Frampt completed his Trick Dog Championship! We also have titles in Sprinters and chase ability.
Both can be found demoing during group classes and assisting in private training sessions.
