We had a photo shoot today with our 18HH homebred and raised 3-year-old mare, Sloane. She is one of our four full sisters from this cross that we have retained for our show and breeding program. She is currently in foal to BP Empire for January of 2025.

We brought home this beautiful trophy from the National Clydesdale Sale for Anderson's Anita's accomplishment of being named the 2023 Supreme Champion of the All-American contest.

We would like to thank the All-American committee for their hard work in putting together the contest and also for making such a wonderful keepsake for Anita. We would also like to thank the National Clyde Sale for providing a place to present these awards.

We would like to congratulate all participants of the 2023 All-American Contest, and look forward to the 2024 show season with all of you!

Rosette is our newest foal born this past Saturday and enjoyed some beautiful sunshine today along with a photo shoot. Her mother, Flower Girl (Great American Ben Franklin x Hollybank Primrose), was imported from Scotland in 2021, and has proven herself a wonderful outcross for our breeding program. Rosette is sired by our homebred and raised stallion, Ta**us.
We are looking forward to watching this filly grow and develop.

Devan had a huge filly foal last night sired by our homebred and raised stallion, Ta**us. This filly is perfectly marked and has an impressive presence to her already.
This filly is a maternal sister to Anderson's Delight who was named All-American as a foal, yearling, and two-year-old, and more recently was named the Junior Champion mare at the 2023 World and National Clydesdale Shows.
This filly has big shoes to fill to measure up to Delight's success, but we think she has the potential to do so.

Etta Mae was born this past Sunday (3-24) and she and her mother, Marette have been doing well. Etta Mae is sired by Birky's Pride Rock of Ages owned by Irish Thunder Clydesdales.
This filly's namesake is for her maternal great granddam, 2S Shea's Exclusive Etta, whom was one of our foundation mares for our breeding program. We are looking forward to watching this filly grow and develop!

Caitlin is the first offspring of our homebred and raised mare, Katie, and is sired by Rock, owned by Irish Thunder Clydesdales. Her namesake is for Caitlin Clark, if you watch women's college basketball 😉. This filly has been growing into herself nicely and we think she has a bright future ahead of her!

Addison is the first foal out of our homebred and raised mare, Alana, who was named the All-American Yearling Mare in 2019, and is sired by our homebred and raised stallion, Anderson's Ta**us, who was the All-American two-year-old stallion in 2021.

We are excited to watch this filly grow and look forward to her future!

Sonata was our first foal of 2024. She has been growing and developing nicely over the last couple of months. Her mother, Ovation, was 1st place in the 10 and over class at the 2023 World Clydesdale Show. Sonata's sire is our homebred and raised stallion, Ta**us (Willow Way Kelso son).
We are very happy with how this filly is growing in to herself and think she has a bright future ahead of her in our program!

Goodsburn Lady May (right) is the mother to 7-year-old mare Anderson's Gabrielle (left). Gabrielle is a full sister to our current herd sire, Anderson's Ta**us.
Lady May was imported from Scotland when she was a two-year-old and has added quality to our program as a broodmare.

Flash passed away peacefully this morning at 22 years of age. To list all of the accomplishments of this herd sire and his offspring would be lengthy. Some of the highlights of Flash's impact on our program include:

- Being a cornerstone of our breeding program
- Being named the Premier Sire 11 consecutive times
- Numerous offspring that received Champion titles at all levels including National and World shows
- Numerous offspring that received All-American and All-Canadian titles

Flash was made available to Anderson Farms by his breeder, Nick and Cherie Wagner in 2011. He was always a gentleman to breed with and had a very sweet disposition, that made him a joy to be around. We will miss Flash, but know that he had a good long, loved life at 22 years of age. It comforts us to know that he has many offspring to carry on his legacy.

Happy Fall Y'all!

We took advantage of today's beautiful fall weather and foliage to snap a few pictures of Anderson's Anita.
Anita had a stellar 2023 show season and was named the Supreme World Champion, the Supreme National Champion, and the Supreme Champion at the North American Clydesdale/Shire Fall Classic. She also made her way to the Classic Halter Series Finale where she was named the Champion Clydesdale and Reserve Champion over all breeds.
This homebred and raised mare has been a cornerstone of our show program since she was a foal and has transitioned well over the years in to our breeding program. We have retained her son Anderson's Aspen (sired by Willow Way Kelso) as a junior herd sire.
She is currently in foal to Anderson's Ta**us for a 2024 foal.

Today we got Ace cleaned up for a couple new fall photos. He has done a lot of growing over the last year and continues to impress us as he develops. Ace is the son of 2015 World Champion, Anderson's Ovation, and is sired by the Scottish Import Stallion and 2016 Cawdor cup winner, Thorpe Hill Royale.
Ace is the only offspring of this cross, but his dam, Ovation, is currently in foal to Anderson's Ta**us for a 2024 foal. His grand dam, 2S Omega's Elegant Encore, is also in foal for 2024 to Anderson's Aspen.
We are excited for Ace's future in our breeding program, and plan to use him as a herd sire.
