Get into back-to-school mode by attending our next Watercolour Bunnies class at The Bunny Cafe with our bunderful instructor Erin Green this Tuesday! 🐰🎨 Just a few spots left - book online at bunnycafe.ca 🐇
Tootsie is cute from ears to nose to... tootsies! 😊
These cuties are getting adopted together soon! 😊 Come meetyhe fluffy unicorns while you still can 🤣
"Hi, it's me... Carlos! I love you already!"
Fun fact: Oscar (black) was one of the OG bunnies here at The Bunny Cafe when we opened back in 2021! He didn't find his furever home the furrst time around, but that's okay because if he had, he wouldn't have met his bff Felix (harlequin)! 🐰🐰 Oscar & Felix are so sweet together. They have a lot of love to give and are so excited to find their furever home!!
It's not eating alone if you're here... Lunch time is in the afternoon but snacktime is all day long! Every visit to The Bunny Cafe comes with a complementary veggie cup you can treat our adoptable bunnies to!
Taking a moment to celebrate these sweet bunnos who found their furever homes in April! 💞 Plenty of newbies have arrived this month, and there is no end to the number of bunnies in need of loving homes... if you have the space in your heart and your home, submit an application to adopt (or even just foster) at bunnycafe.ca/adopt today! 🐇
1 + 1 can equal hundreds... our rescue partner Rabbitats speaks on how colonies of abandoned rabbits quickly multiply.
Thinking of buying a pet bunny as a gift for Easter? Please opt for a chocolate bunny or stuffed animal until you've had time to do lots and lots of research... and hop on down to The Bunny Cafe, where we can educate you on all you need to know about bunny care and how to provide a successful forever home... Always always always, #adoptdontshop -- our local rescues are overrun with rabbits in need of homes, many of whom were purchased from a breeder as last year's Easter gift 😔
Bonded cuties Bunnie & Clyde are about 1-2 years old, and come as a 'package deal.' 💞 They were abandoned in a house after their previous family moved out, along with their sister who sadly passed away shortly after @rabbitatsrescue took them in. They had been neglected and unhealthy, but after lots of love and care in their foster home, they are now doing well. They can be quite messy and naughty when they don't get the attention they deserve, but they are super sweet and social! Hop on over to be charmed by these sweeties! 🥰 You can apply to adopt them at bunnycafe.ca/adopt
Meet the babies! They're nine weeks old now and have just about doubled in size since they arrived at The Bunny Cafe two weeks ago. 🥰 These cuties have no boundaries and love crawling all over visitors... they are the result of an accidental litter, and they're in our care until they are old enough to be spayed or neutered, at which point we will be looking for foster-to-adopt homes for every bun! Along with our rescue partner Rabbitats, we have no end of bunnies who are in need of foster and adoption 🥲 If you have the space to care for a sweet bun (or even better, a bonded pair or trio! 😊😊😊) please fill out an application at bunnycafe.ca/adopt 🐇
Did you know that if you see a bunny binky on a leap year day, you'll have good luck for the next four years? I may or may not have made that up, but one thing is for sure: all visitors on leap year day tomorrow will receive a coupon for another free weekday visit! 🐇 Just one more reason to leap on over to The Bunny Cafe.
We wish you a Happy Family Day, whether you celebrate with relatives or chosen family, or both, like this trio! Sisters Joni and Dolly chose Bo to join their family, but they are still waiting on that one special family to come along and choose them! 🥰
Four baby lionhead lops, the result of an accidental litter, bobbed their way into The Bunny Cafe yesterday and bid their mama goodbye 🥲
At long last, Sophie and Marshall were adopted together last month! Our hearts doubled in size from having these two in our care for so long. When you adopt a bonded pair, you bring so much love into your home! We miss these silly sweeties but are so happy for them and their lucky new bun-parent. 🥰
Last supper together... The babies are just on the brink of puberty, which means it's time to separate the boys from the girls. 🥲 Three boys are heading back to the shelter this afternoon. We are still looking for foster homes for the Granville Island babies, whether for a few months, or foster-to-adopt. If you have a little room in your heart and your home, don't delay! Submit an application at bunnycafe.ca/adopt 🥰
Hard to believe it's already been a month since the Granville Island family arrived! 😮 It's been so sweet watching them grow and become well socialized, crawling with their tiny feets all over visitors to snag their beloved veggies. 😄 Now's the time when we need your help! All babies will be looking for foster homes where they can stay until they are of age to be spayed or neutered, and beyond (after which they will be available for adoption). Baby girls will be fostered in pairs. "Foster-to-adopt" is ideal, but even if you can open your hearts and homes for just a couple months, it helps to alleviate pressure from our rescue partner Rabbitats ... it really takes a whole community to rescue bunnies! If you think you can help, please fill out the application form at bunnycafe.ca/adopt and mention the Granville Island buns! 🙌💞🐇
Mr. White sez "Hop to it and come fall in love with me and my bestie Mr. Black! We are looking for a home together pwease." This bonded pair are favourites of many of our visitors... come find out why! And yes, Mr. White is the black bun and Mr. Black is white... because they are just that cool. 😎
