"Big Boy" Bazooka's previous owner had dementia, and kept refilling his kitty's food bowl, forgetting he had already eaten. Though motivated by love, this led to what you see below--- a seriously obese cat. Bazooka has now been adopted by a new family, and is on a strict diet. Let us hope his new life is full of love and activity.❤️

Contrary to conventional wisdom, cats are sensitive to human emotion and mood, know their names, and are bonded to their humans. Though we have our doubts, the research even suggests that most would prefer to interact with a person than eat! (Does this sound like your kitty? It certainly does not sound like ours!)😹

Meet Riggs, Bird Killing Ninja No-More! The Catbib may even have elevated his status in his kingdom! 😸

"Our 2.5 year old cat Riggs is a bird killing ninja. That is until we discovered the cat bib. The death count has been reduced dramatically and Riggs does not seem to mind wearing the bib. We keep it on him pretty much 24/7 as he comes and goes as he pleases throughout the day/night. It does change his gait a bit, he tries to step over it and looks like he is trying to walk like a boss. I think this has elevated his status in the cat community around our house. We are so happy to rarely wake up to dead birds in our closet anymore (that is where Riggs always brought his prizes). Thank you Cat Bib!

Research has proven that sharing your bed with your cat is good for your health. The rhythmic breathing of cats is soothing and reduces stress. Sleeping in the same bed gives you and your kitty a sense of emotional and physical security.

Daisy the beagle started treating two motherless kittens as if they were her own, showering them with affection. She has even begun producing her own milk to feed them. A beautiful story of inter-species love.❤️

HAMLET, PRINCE OF NEW YORK

The Algonquin Hotel in Manhattan has welcomed stray cats since its founding in the 1930s. Each cat who "reigns" at The Algonquin has been a rescue, with the current Hamlet VIII residing there since September 2017.
