We've got a bit of everything at the Heart to Home Christmas in July market. It's a 10 day market at the Old Firehall and it starts today! For leashes we have standard, rope, traffic, multi and chew proof leashes and longlines For collars we have standard, painted, two tone, braided, 1.5" layered and high vis!
So excited for the Heart to Home Christmas in July market starting this Friday - July 7-16 at the Old Firehall (1105 Front St, Whitehorse).
I've been working hard on a new display, can't wait for you all to see it. It's definitely colourful to say the least. I'm also looking forward to seeing all the other local businesses showcased in this unique market. I'm always shocked to see how many talented entrepreneurs we have in Whitehorse.

Thank you so much everyone for your patience while Mountain Mutt was closed this summer! We know it was a long 3 months and we truly appreciate your understanding. This break allowed Shadow and I to hike the Great Divide Trail. We spent 52 days hiking from Waterton to Jasper - it was an incredible journey! These are just a few of my favourite photos 😊 this also allowed me to really do some thorough product testing. We then spent a few weeks visiting family and friends and then settling back in at home. We are now rested and ready to take on orders again ❤️

The snow sure is beautiful, but I'm looking forward to hiking and leaving my snowshoes behind. Gotta love windswept ridges for that taste summer, hiking on solid ground.
Shadow spends all his offleash hikes with the traffic tab on so I can quickly grab him if we encounter others on the trail. I've perfected the size of the traffic tab and haven't had any issues with his feet getting caught in the handle, but I'm happy to make traffic tabs with a slider or without a handle upon request.

I've been operating MM in limbo for quite some time, but I'm so excited to say our website is up to date, and our biothane shelves are stocked. I am so excited to be back.
I'm going to try a new method of accepting orders to ensure that I don't get burnt out while also ensuring that I give you all lovely and patient folks some consistency. At the beginning of each month, the shop will open and I will accept the first 20 orders that come in. Once the 20 order limit is reached, the shop will stop accepting new orders temporarily and then it will reopen on the first of the following month. (This may mean that the shop could be closed for 3 weeks or 3 days, or not at all, depending on how many orders I get, but you can count on the shop reopening the following month).
On a fun note - I have some fun new additions to the line up! New colours include olive 🫒 and seafoam 🌊 (pictured above) and I have black hardware for 1" collars 🖤
