Start Time 9:30am

Parking - once out lot is full we will be closing the gate to avoid traffic jams we will have additional parking on our property and over flow at the back lot of Kieley’s Convenience / Haylofe Lounge - we do ask that you do not park in the front lot as this is their customer parking

BBQ - we will have a cash bbq on site and competitors may keep a tab that would need to be paid at the end of the day

Thank you to Rainbow Riders - Therapeutic Riding Newfoundland and Labrador Inc. for hosting a great clinic that our staff attended !

Today we had the pleasure of hosting Helen Richardson as she facilitated the NCCP Analyzing Beginner Equestrian Performance course. Current and future instructors from across Newfoundland had an educational and fun day learning about how to better correct skill errors in beginner athletes.

Thank you to everyone who participated today. A special thank you to Helen (Oakhurst Farm) for sharing her knowledge with us!

Today is our 3rd Anniversary in the new barn , but it feel like we have been here for ever and also only moved in yesterday at the same time .

We would like the thank all of friend, family , and clients for an amazing 3 years ! It’s been truly a dream to share my love of horses with each one of you and look forward to another great year of adventures

This is beginner-friendly! The horse silhouette will be pre-drawn to ease any anxiety about making your horse anatomically correct. All supplies are provided. All you need to bring is your fun-loving self! The event will be lead by Emma Dooley, taking you step by step through the painting process, but different colour backgrounds and horses are encouraged to truly make your creation your own!


A portion of every ticket will be donated to Hoofbeats on our Heart to assist them in the costs for medial procedures for their equine friends who unfortunately have to travel out of province.


If you love horses, and love a creative outlet, you are not going to want to miss this event !

We proudly congratulate Jillian Battcock, our outstanding Program Coordinator, on her graduation from Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN) with a Bachelor of Biochemistry degree. Jillian's remarkable ability to juggle her academic pursuits , instructing and responsibilities at Bridle Path is a testament to her exceptional dedication and work ethic. HIRING Bridle Path Stable Camp Counsellor
Summer 2024

• Must have formal experience working with & riding horses

• Formal horse experience required (English or western riding) Equine Canada or Pony Club rider levels an asset
• Ability to work effectively with children ages 7-14
• Provide supervision and guidance for campers and to to facilitate various activities (arts & crafts/games/equine activities/outdoor recreation)
• Ability to provide beginner riding instruction.
• General daily horse care - mucking/watering/feeding/blanketing/basic vet care
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Position will be typically 35- 40 per week Monday – Friday some weekend work will be required based on operational needs.
 Camps run June 24 - Aug 30 with a Holiday week Aug 5-9

Notes to all applicants:
• Please ensure you provide details of related equine experience in your cover letter &/or resume
• Please note only those selected for interview will be contact . Thank you for your interest.
• All applications will also be required to provide a criminal record check / vulnerable populations.
• All applications will be required to complete hold a valid Standard Frist Aid/CPR + EC concussion management by start of employment
• Due to positions falling under grants all applications the falling criteria must apply to all applications/positions.
a. is between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment.
b. is a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act*; and
c. is legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial / territorial legislation and regulations.
*International students are not eligible. Recent immigrants are eligible if they are Canadian Citizens or permanent residents.
