These beautiful souls will remain safe in the care of Ruff Stuff Dog Services - Dog Boarding & Doggie Daycare in Squamish until a suitable home is found. Their person is in the hospital with a terminal illness. If you are able to help Addi and Harper please reach out to Ruff Stuff at [email protected] or 604-733-6483

Some information on Addi and Harper from Ruff Stuff:

Addi is a spayed female lab - born June 18, 2014. She up to date with her distemper, rabies and bordatella vaccines.
Harper is a neutered male lab - born Aug 18, 2016. Also upto date on above noted vaccinations

They are both from a breeder in Ontario called Cooperslane Kennels.

I've known them both for most of their lives plus their Mom provided a bit of information about them too.

They are a very bonded pair. They're boarding with us currently and they are always relatively close together, even in the play yards. They are unfortunately both p**p eaters. Not as bad as they used to be but they do both still have an appetite for it. Addi has slowed down/calmed down considerably as she's aged. Harper is still pretty high energy and his favourite thing to do is play ball. Addi has little interest in the ball. They both walk with head halti's. Addi can be a bit reactive when on leash but she has no problem socializing otherwise. Harper will sometimes try to act like a tough guy when first meeting a new dog but he usually gets over it quickly and is then fine. They have boarded with us in Squamish many times and attended our doggie daycare in Vancouver regularly.

They have no real experience with kids other than walking past a playground daily with their Mom but she never let them meet any of the kids because she has always had a hard time controlling them while on leash. They never showed any aggression towards the kids. Harper does still jump up occassionally when greeting people.

Cats are a no go for both of them.

They can go off leash at beaches and trails.

Health:
Addi - has 2 fatty lumps on her left side. Their vet isn't concerned about them. She needs her ears cleaned regularly as she's prone to ear infections. Surolan does the trick every time she's gotten an ear infection. The vet believes her ear infections are related to seasonal allergies.

Harper -- He's prone to getting plaque which affects his gums. He's had dental surgery on his gums. His teeth should be cleaned regularly.

They both have seasonal allergies. Addi chews her paws when she has a flare up and needs a Cytopoint injection which gives her fast relief and lasts about a month. They're both on a Royal Canin kibble for dogs with allergies.

They have been boarding with us now for over a month and have been absolutely awesome! They sleep together in a XL kennel area and are quiet and content in there. They are good eaters (their labs 😂). No signs of separation anxiety.

BOO! Surprise Canine Meadows fam! Throughout the month of October we have been secretly dressing up some of your pups for some festive photos. Although some were squirmy, some were terrified, some absolutely despised us, and others were completely impossible to take photos of, we had so much fun taking such adorable pictures of your pups this month. Until next year, Happy Halloween!🐾🎃
