What is Rally Obedience aka Rally?
Rally Obedience (RallyO) is intended to promote positive relationships between dogs and owners based on trust and respect. RallyO encourages participation of ALL dogs purebred or mixed breed, pets or titled champions as well as physically-challenged dogs and/or handlers.
ATTITUDE is most important in RallyO. Dogs and handlers "just gotta have fun."
RallyO is a program for dogs and their owners. Dog and handler use directional signs to go through a numbered course within an allotted time.
RallyO is designed so that dogs at all levels of training may participate. A beginner’s course may include heel, sits, turns, pace changes, sit-stay and elements of recall. As the dogs gain skill, more difficult elements are incorporated into the courses which will improve you and your dog’s performance levels and confidence. RallyO is offered by CARO (Canadian Association of Rally Obedience), CKC (Canadian Kennel Club), AKC (American Kennel Club), Australian Shepherd Club of America (ASCA), C-WAGS, World Cynosport and UKC (United Kennel Club) trials.

𝗠𝗶𝘅𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗞𝗶𝗯𝗯𝗹𝗲: 𝗜𝘀 𝗜𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀?

Sometimes, dog parents new to fresh foods are warned not to mix fresh with kibble because they digest at different rates. This myth suggests it’s dangerous, but here’s the truth:

𝗜𝗧 𝗗𝗢𝗘𝗦𝗡’𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥❗️

Our dogs’ digestive systems are built to handle more than just a single type of food without getting confused! Many factors influence digestion and transit time—not just the food itself. Body weight (larger breeds have slower transit times), the nervous system, hormones, and even food density and particle size all play a role.

So, if this old myth has held you back, let it go and feel confident trying fresh foods with your dog’s kibble! If you're still too nervous - just feed them in separate meals- whatever works for you and your dog. I don't want people to rule out fresh foods entirely, because they're scared.

📌 𝗧𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗴’𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝘄𝗹 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀:

👉 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻, 𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘁—use a protein they’re familiar with from their kibble so you know it’s tolerated.

👉 𝗔𝗱𝗱 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗴𝗴 🥚– a high biological value protein that’s budget-friendly! Start with a cooked egg for a gentle introduction.

👉 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀, 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁-𝘀𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 of ground or diced meats and gradually build from there.

👉 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗶 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲! 🥦 Small amounts of pulverized raw florets or finely chopped, steamed broccoli can add great variety.

💩 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸: If you notice undigested pieces of veggies, they might need even smaller pieces to absorb all the benefits.

🚀 𝗘𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗴’𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝘄𝗹 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗮 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘀𝘁!
