Ottawa and Valley Lost Pet Network Helping lost and found animals from Ottawa, the Ottawa Valley, the Outaouais and surrounding areas. Please include as much info as possible.

Helping lost and found animals from Ottawa, the Ottawa Valley, the Outaouais and surrounding areas find their way back home. Post about a lost/found animal on the page or send us a message. Phone number and/or email and exact area street/town as we cover a large area. If possible include a photo. If it's a lost animal, please don't forget to include the animal's name. The information will then be

posted on the page and appear in the newsfeed for people to share. You should file a lost pet report with your local animal control officer and your local shelter/pound. For Ottawa Humane Society, you can file a report online at: http://www.ottawahumane.ca/services/lost-and-found/claim-your-lost-pet/lost-animal-report/ or email [email protected]

If it is a found animal, the animal should be brought to a vet or shelter to be scanned for a microchip. You should also report the found animal to your local animal control officer and your local shelter/pound. We strongly recommend that you register the lost/found pet on www.helpinglostpets.com, post an ad on Kijiji, put up posters and put a sign on your lawn. By posting on our page or sending us a message about a lost/found pet, you are giving us permission to share all the information provided on our page, including your name and contact information. We ask that you bookmark the post and check in frequently for comments from our followers.

Dozer a handsome grey tabby missing from Cornwall is home after 3 weeks😻
From his owner "The neighbour yesterday and my mom today spotted a cat while I was at work. I set up a trap with wet food, temptations and hope and got him! He is skinny and dirty but he seems fine so far! Thank you to everyone involved, Merry Christmas 🎄🐾💕

Olive a sweet orange and white cat went missing from Orleans. A sighting was posted on the page and one of our admins immediately thought it might be Olive. The owner confirmed it was.
Olive is home safe afer 3 weeks😽

Teana a very pretty black cat went missing from Kanata. After 3 weeks she was found safe in a window well at her home 😻

Teddy a sweet young lab/chow mix went missing in Perth. He is home after 11 days. He had made his way to a farm 3 km away🐾💖

Hi, my dog Stella got out last night, I drove around for hours looking for her, last I was out driving around at 4am. She’s a female rotti ridgeback, tan, coloured she’s almost 12 years old. Departed from odyssey way in Findlay creek. Last night around 10:30-11 pm Saturday.

Where I live,The Highlands we have rock caves behind our condo that all kinds of fraggle rock creatures take shelter inside.😬

Hello, we have what appears to be an older black lab mix visiting us on Belmeade Road in the night (twice this week, Thursday and last night). We have not been up when he/she comes by, but the tracks appear to lead in the direction of neighbours. We can see a collar, but have never seen this dog before. Just wanted to send it here to see if anyone is missing their pet, will try to see if he/she comes by tonight.

Our dog Harper ran off when someone set off fireworks in our residential neighborhood. Last seen in Mississippi Shores neighborhood near Riverside Park and public boat launch in CARLETON PLACE!

VERY nervous but super friendly, about 40 pounds, white with brown spots and brown face

Found a male black cat with green eyes in or near Metcalfe. He’s been coming by at night for about a month now and recently taking shelter in our garage. Last night he was pretty cold and we got him inside. No collar and he doesn’t have a chip. He’s friendly, seems to be a house cat, hoping to return him to his family!
