Oh, Derek 😂.

This absolutely handsome and intelligent young boy is so full of character! His level of goofiness is only matched by just how sweet he is 💕. Derek LOVES people, especially if they're young and rambunctious like him! He'll meet you once and call you family!

He also LOVES to play, and he will find a way to make you play along with him ... Even if it's by trying to annoy you with a squeaky toy until you cave 😂.

We just absolutely love this boy! 🐶

🌟 Featuring Star! 🌟

This tiny little thing may come in a small package, but she shines as bright as her name!

Star stayed with us for Boarding for a few nights and had a wonderful time! 🛏️ 🌙

This old girl is just so calm and SO easy going, content to follow you around, literally everywhere! If you even breathe the word "cuddle", she's right at your side and ready to snuggle, well, probably forever if you let her 😂.

Star is also great with her dog friends, so come and join us for a good ol' time, weather for Daycare or Boarding! 🐶

🌟 Featuring Buddy! 🌟

Buddy came to stay with us for Daycare! This spunky little guy is SO cute and SO sweet! An excellent listener who loves to cuddle.

Apparently Buddy also has excellent receptionist skills 🤔. We didn't know we were in the market for a Secretary, but apparently Buddy has applied for and gotten the job!

In losing you, we lost a legend.

The bones and heart that birthed Elite Canine Academy. A dream and a mission to teach and help as many dogs and owners as possible, because you yourself, dear girl, needed so so much help.

You taught me how to open my mind, how to strategize, how to adapt. You taught me drive, determination, passion, consistency and patience. You taught me how to speak a language with no words, but most of all, you taught me fierce, unwavering love.

Over the years, I watched you pacify the most anxious dogs, socialize the most shy and timid pups. Teach manners to the unruly, and confidence to the broken and abused.

You seemed to soothe the hearts of the most vulnerable of humans, and you were a place of safety for those without a voice. Whether at a summer camp, or a school, a residence or a stranger walking down the street, you knew who needed you and were always quick to answer the call.

"You taught her so well! Im so impressed!" No, no, dear girl. They've got it all wrong, it was you who taught me.

In losing you, we lost a legend. But we didn't lose our purpose. Your name will live on, and I'll make you proud, I promise ❤️🐾🕊️
