I am very honoured to have a full set of the Alison Strang Versatilty Challenge Award. Even better is the fact that it's 3 generations of my dogs.

Alison was my first mentor when I started in the breed. She taught me and others how to evaluate puppies, and evaluate adult dogs for breeding. We sat together at many dog shows, seminars discussing breed type and the standard.

She also was a training partner in the field. She felt strongly of the versatile Toller, especially in both conformation and field.

It's been a part of my breeding program from the beginning to prove the versatility of my own dogs in every generation.

I think we've been successful and that Alison would be very proud!

And even though Tilly, GCH Rainkist Girl On A Mission CGN, RI, RM, CDX, SH, WCX, Am WCX, was home post surgery, she was the winner of the 2024 Gold Alison Strang Award. What makes this extra special is Grandsire C**t won Silver in 2022 and her Dam Smooch won the Bronze in 2022.
So we have 3 Generations of Alison Strang Award winners and one of each. We had to bring home the gold this time!!

This is a versatility award, in which you must obtain titles over the 2 year period before a specialty year and acrue the most points, dogs must be Champions or have a field title.

Second day of the NSDTRCC Specialty weekend, started super busy, chairing the obedience trial.
In the afternoon I was thrilled to be awarded Best In Breeder's Sweeps with Trevor, AKC Ch Rainkist's Born A Wicked Crime JH WCI, Can WCI amongst many respected peers.
Trevor was also RWM in the Pacific Kennel Club show.
Ended the day playing Rally Team with C**t. Now to sleep, get up do it again.

These pups are super friendly and are going to make the new owners very happy.

Proud of this team. LIz and Rocket won High In Trial at their first Novice Obedience Trial, AIOC.
They are also actively training in the field for the upcoming season.

Rocket is formally known a GCh Oryxes Rainkist Bottle Rocket Rebel WC RN CGN and is co- owned by us.

He is also the proud father of 5 beautiful puppies at EastWest Tollers.

Sadly we received news that beautiful Alice, Rainkist Aqueus Artful Alice RN JH CA CGN WC, from our Gusto x Leeloo litter has passed.

Alice was Amanda's heart dog and was full of P and V from the beginning. Amanda loved that and enjoyed training her for field while they lived in the PNW.

She now joins her Mom and sister's Rosie and Ceili at the bridge. Oh my goodness ear plugs on, these girls are going to rip it up.

They have arrived.
Yesterday, Smooch gave birth to 9 puppies but sadly 3 did not make it. Breeding can be a tough go😪
She has 6 beautiful babies. 3 of each.
Smooch is doing great.

We are open to more applicants at this time. These will be strong working, show prospects, with the sweetest temperaments.

Love looking back at videos and seeing where it all started.
The first video is Tilly at 12 weeks swimming out to a bumper with Grandpa C**t.
The 2nd is her doing a long channel blind at 2 years.
She has shown great confidence from the beginning.

Good day at Victoria dog show, Rocket, Ch Oryxes Rainkist Bottle Rocket Rebel WC RN CGN, our co owned boy, handled by Liz Aberdeen was BOS in a large Specials line up and Trevor, AKC Ch Rainkist Born A Wicked Crime WC, handled by Amanda Kaiser, was Winner's male for his first 2 CKC points.

Our co-owned boy Rocket, Ch Oryxes Rainkist Bottle Rocket Rebel WC, also has obtained his CGN and RN, pending CKC, handled by Liz Aberdeen.
Rocket will be 2 in May and will be having the rest of his health clearances completed.

We are very proud of our newest Dobirstein recipient, Tilly.
At 20 months of age, she met the requirements of a CKC Championship, field and obedience title to earn the NSDTR Club of Canada versatility award.

Tilly is our 6th Dobirstein recipient.

Thank you to the NSDTRCC for honoring versatility in the breed. It's something we, as a breeder, feel is important to strive for.

Rainkist had a great weekend.
We showed 2 days at Victoria City KC.
Tilly, Ch Rainkist Girl On A Mission CD RE JH WCI CGN, Percy x Smooch, picked up 6 points to her Grand Championship.
Baci, Rainkist Il Taffo Baci, Tatum x Smooch, first time in the ring for both him and his owner, Lorri Sandvar, were RW male and BOW, in a large entry of beautiful Tollers, earning their first 4 points at just 9 months.

Also, C**t's son Marsh, Outfox Mon Amour, finished his Championship!! This is C**t's 11th Champion!
His Daughter Juniper, Ch Outfox's Blush Against the World, earned 4 more points towards her Grand Championship. Congratulations to Outfox Tollers!

Today we had a great day field training. Tilly's 😍
