We have been involved in the rescue and adoption of the American Mustang for about more as
5 years now
At our Mustang taming or training we use a special communication system - to get the most out of the Mustang
this is the key to success, based first on trust and bond we use our special horse whispering liberty Method after the Mustang arrived on our Ranch
We are located in New Brunswick Canada only 4 walking Minutes from the Bay de Chaleur

A short note on a personal matter
Due to a health problem on my leg and very likely impending surgery, the planned video (ride and work) and short training videos and pics will not be ready to post here until mid or the end of September
Sometimes it is better to let go and let something else begin again.

Reason
Hope the buskin Mustang Mare is a horse that needs to be trained every day so that she stays tame. This is very time-intensive and difficult to implement if you own another 6 mustangs. In order not to neglect the other mustangs in terms of work ( if only one Person have the Experience to tame , train or work with the Mustangs )we decided with a heavy heart to let Hope go to a forever home and Abbie too ,as they are a very strong bonded pair. We look back on 2 wonderful years of Memories with both horses, we will miss both but we know they found a forever safe place and enjoy her life with other horses

The purpose of the workshop is, among other things, to show people the wonderful world of BLM mustangs, to teach them what a great tool a good mind is, to help them act logically and well in the eyes of horses, and to bring them closer to horses in a natural and beautiful way. Our horses are BLM mustangs from the wild USA and they teach even more experienced horse people the world of horses, show how clear the language of horses is and how gently and beautifully you can communicate with them.
The program begins with the course participants being instructed to do things at the same pace as the horse, to involve the horse and to discuss with the horse. Everything we do builds the horse's trust in the human and during the course we show numerous techniques that make the cooperation between horse and human easy, smooth and happy.
Many of the techniques we teach are the same ones used by the world's best horse trainers, e.g. in the USA and Australia, Europe always tailored to the specific horse.
The most important thing with animals is a good mind, knowledge of what they are doing, so reliable behavior and joy. The courses also focus on this wonderful tool, a good mind, which of course helps both animals and humans, starting with ourselves.

Mustang Stallion Moonshine's current color scheme, but it will change a little bit when he has his full summer fur , this year again , it looks like his fur shines in different colors depending on the lighting conditions we love his camouflage fur ( it give Days his fur looks change to buskin color, on other days he looks chesnut or bloody

We don't know for sure whether Moon is a color changer around the year maybe he is )

-we have been very busy since December 2023, our update will come in mid-April at the latest - which also includes small changes at the Little K Ranch, of course we will post

Today Moon had a short training session (it's the first time a person sits half on his back when he's lying down) we don't working with him for about 3 months as we take a break in the winter, we love this young stallion

Moon explored our training Area for the first Time today, he was immediately ready to go to a higher Pedestal without prior Practice (he knew only our low foal Podium)
*My plan was to sit on the pedestal and enjoy the Time with him, but Moon probably wanted to show me that he like the bigger Pedestal , I do than 5 min unplanned Training with Moon
We had a great 💕 Time with our Guests from Europe, middle next week we will be working with the Mustangs again (& capture our Work in Pictures or Video for you and post it here on the first Days in November)

Sometimes I just take the time to go for a walk with Spirit, she doesn't need a halter or lead rope, she would never run away, (that's not trained , she has a special particularly strong bond to me , ) we both enjoy hiking through nature, ( this Mustang Mare is from Nevada and now 6 1/2 years on our Ranch )

Here we create a basis of respect and trust using the means of communication that are inherently available. But above all - we change the mental attitude of the horse towards us. It learns to give us the main attention, never to turn away without being asked, and to recognize us as the leader, not the predator. It learns to respect our space and to trust us. It begins to understand how to keep direction, gait, pace and allow itself to be "caught" at any time.
