About Us
We are BlueLineEquine, also known as Rich and Doug.
Like you, we love horses and want both the horse and rider to get the most out of their time together and build a positive, trusting relationship.
In brief, the goal of BlueLineEquine is to build confidence in both horse and rider in a fun, supportive and safe environment.
We do this by using proven techniques we have mastered in our 24 years of mounted police work and training. As the designated horse trainer and riding instructor of the Vancouver Police Department Mounted Squad, we were responsible for the training and coaching of horses and riders that effectively and courageously policed the City of Vancouver for the duration of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games and the 2011 Stanley Cup Riot.
