(and a large part of New Brunswick) through foster homes until we can fundraise enough to build a shelter for them. Since inception we have taken in over 900 animals and adopted out over 770. Currently we are primarily helping cats while we fundraise for a shelter building. The use of volunteer foster homes is how these animals are cared for and we do not have the properly experienced foster homes

to deal with most of the dogs that would be surrendered, although we have helped a small number so far. At this time Covid, has stymied our fundraising efforts and the support we do receive has been going strictly to paying monthly veterinary costs, approx. $8000/mth. We are looking for supporter who can help with the funds to build our shelter.

Abigail is a 10 month old LOVE BUG looking for a foster home until January when her owner returns from overseas. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccines. The Owner is willing to pay the foster for taking care of his girl. She absolutely loves kids. If you think you are able to Foster you can message here and I will put you in contact with her current Foster. She is located in St. George.

Bob Gould was a wonderful gentleman who would bring homeless cats to the St. George Animal Shelter when he couldn't find anywhere in Saint John or Sussex for them to go, we tried to never say no to him because He was usually all out of places to call and he cared so deeply about saving these poor cats. Don't forget about our foster challenge! Tomorrow is Friday! We have had a few people reach out and have their names for when we have cats come in, but we would love to get some more names to add to our Foster-Families list!

What to do if your animal is lost OR if you have found an animal?? Please send a picture of the animal, where the animal was lost/found and best way to contact you, to [email protected] or FB message us as well as both the CCSPCA and the Saint John SPCA and the veterinarian offices in your area. Also be sure to put the same information on your own page (asking people to share), as well as put up posters around your neighbourhood, and ask your neighbours. Where will we be located?? We officially announced our location on October 19th, 2019!! Near exit 52, close to the highway and St George center, and part of the bigger animal welfare corner which will also house the new St George Vet Clinic and its dog park which will be open to the public.

The road and building site have been cleared. If we have the funds, we plan to start building in summer of 2020!!! Come help us!
