Today is Hurley’s gotcha day! 3 years ago today, this special guy came into our lives. He was rescued by from a shelter in Quebec. He was saved from being euthanized at the shelter. At that time his name was Dumbo (his ears are glorious). We welcomed him into our home as a foster and his name was changed to Blizzard (white with blinding speed). After a few months, it was clear that he would be a foster fail (I guess WE were actually the foster fails - not him). After his adoption, we renamed him Hurley to fit in with our beach and west coast themed names in our fluffle.
Today, this sweet lamb is living his best life in a cage-free environment where his daily zoomies and binkies can be on display. We’re not sure if he is bored or just a sleepy guy but we can get daily videos of him yawning if we tried. We adorable him!

Yesterday marked the 2-year anniversary of Brea coming to live with us. Initially known as Pumpkin and rescued from a shelter in Quebec where she was scheduled for euthanasia, she came to live with us as a foster through before we adopted her. Two years later and with a name change to Brea (or sometimes Nugget), she is living her best life in her forever home. We absolutely love our little orange velvet sweetheart. Here is a photo from the day she joined us and once from today. ➡️🧡
