These puppies know how to relax! Our frozen litter is 7 weeks old today. Our 3 babies have a big week coming up with a trip to University of Guelph for liver testing as well as a trip to the vet for their wellness check, first vaccine and microchipping.

Our “Frozen” litter is nearly 6 weeks old and doing great! They’re incredibly cute, super playful and love to spend time with all of us in the family room everyday. They all have their teeth coming in, have had their first bath and their nails trimmed twice. Their mama, Jewel is taking excellent care of them but is giving them more independence now that they’re eating solids and slowly preparing them to go to their new homes in a few weeks.

Romeo had a successful day on Friday at the Elora Gorge Kennel Club dog show in Kitchener. Although he was entered all 3 days, he was chosen as Best of Breed for an additional 3 points to finish his Grand Championship, on day 1 of the show so he was done. Thank you to judge Joe Lobb for recognizing our boy. He already had more than enough with 34 GCH points, but he was still required to earn 2 pts after turning a year old on December 15th, to finish his title. We couldn't be more proud of this beautiful boy and we're so grateful to Ashleigh Rutzel for letting Romeo join our breeding programs.

Although I handled him for a few of his Champion and Grand Champion points, the majority were earned under the expertise of his handler, Lynn Doel. Thank you Lynn for piloting him around the ring so beautifully.

Romeo is now GCH Leighway's Star Crossed Lover @ Twinkle & Amistosa (pending CKC approval).

Romeo is co-owned together with Rose Kimber of Twinkle Havanese and his breeder Ashleigh Rutzel of Leighway Havanese and is very loved by the Petralito family.

We’ve got another birthday boy to celebrate today! Happy 4th birthday to our adorable Phoenix, GCH Lancaster’s Phoenix at Twinkle and Amistosa CGN NS. I’m sure you’ll be spoiled today by Samantha and John.

Phoenix is co-owned together with Rose Kimber and very loved by Samantha and her dad John.

Our “Frozen” litter is 1 week old today and all have more than doubled their birth weight and are doing great! We’ll get to see their eyes for the first time in the coming week and next their ears will open.

Our Halo, CH Amistosa’s A Little Piece of Heaven had more success at the Aurora Kennel club show last weekend taking Best of Opposite S*x on Friday and then Best of Breed on Saturday against a large line up of really lovely Havanese for another 8 pts towards her Grand Championship. Thank you to judges Andrea Robins and Wendy Willhauck for recognizing our pretty girl and to Lynn Doel for piloting her around the ring so beautifully 🥰

This pretty girl is 1 year old today! “Halo” CH Amistosa’s A Little Piece of Heaven, has been out showing and working on her Grand Championship. Last weekend she was awarded Best of Breed and Best Puppy in Breed in one show and Select Bitch in another at the Georgina Kennel Club shows. Thank you to judges Irene Latchford and Michael Guy for recognizing our sweet girl and to Lynn Doel for presenting her so beautifully.

2 of our “Finding Nemo” puppies have set off on their next big adventure today! Nemo is now Latte, Amistosa’s Love You a Latte and will be cherished by Eugenia and her family. Dory is now Phyllis, Amistosa’s Easy Rider and will be living her best life with big brother Stanley, from our Grease litter 5 yrs ago, and their wonderful humans, Taylor and Nick.

I am grateful that these loving families found our Nemo and Dory. I’m sure these pups will make us very proud 🥰

***Update…That was quick; Marlin’s new family has found him! Thanks to all for your enquiries ❤️

This extra special boy is ready for his forever family to come and find him. “Marlin” from our Finding Nemo litter is nearly 10 weeks old, vet checked and vaccinated.

Marlin is cute as a button, super sweet, cuddly and very playful. He loves to explore and is very relaxed and social. His temperament is very balanced so he would fit beautifully into most families. Havanese love their humans so they do best in homes where they are not left alone for long periods of time.

The parents of this beautiful pup are CH Almendares Balladyna CGN “Autumn” and GCH Twinkle’s Eye of the Storm CGN NS NTD “Storm”, who is owned by Rose Kimber. Mom and dad are both titled, extensively health tested and temperament tested.
