Services Available Plus:
- Indoor, outdoor, hybrid/reverse turnout options.
- Grain feedings x2 per day (3rd meal extra charge or feed different from stable, owner will provide the grain)
- Hay and water 24/7 year round plus sprouted barley grass in winter for prebiotic, and hay cubes for balanced nutrition,
- Long turnout hours: group weather permitting 12hrs sun rise to sunset, individual 4-12hrs,
- Heater for water troughs in the winter
- Indoor 50' wide track and outdoor 100x200 arena and round pens,
- Knowledgeable and patient staff & barn manager with over 37 years of owning/breeding horses (Sport horses, Western pleasure, Carriage and Race horses),
- Business owner/stable manager & exercise rider lives on site,
- Small group or individual turnout
- Good field management
- Blanket / fly gear changes

2024 WOODBINE LADIES’ LUNCH IN SUPPORT OF LONGRUN
SATURDAY, MAY 25TH, 12pm to 3pm.

Ladies, mark your calendars!! Our annual Ladies’ Lunch at Woodbine will be held May 25th, so join us at noon in the Post Parade room on the third floor for great food, fun and thoroughbred racing, all in support of our wonderful horses.

Attendees last year were treated to a variety of prizes which included watching a race with Woodbine’s personable race caller, Robert Geller, from his perch on the sixth floor, and taking part in a race presentation. Exclusively Equine will be attending for your shopping pleasure and we will be hosting a silent auction and raffle as well. Tickets are $100.00 including GST and you can book your spot directly through the LongRun office.

Not admitting to being a hillbilly but these dwarf goats have really added humour to our stables. They do a good job inspecting things. Trust me they will not eat the carrots if they are not fresh!

Within 30 days my heart has been filled with cuteness! Thanks to today's technology the owners that live near and far was able to be involved over camera with me. It has been 16 years since I last foaled but you don't forget foaling over 120 foals for others plus almost 50 of my own. I started as the stable manager for Canadian Arabians Ltd when I was 18yrs old Dr. Mc Leod was my teacher for collecting stallions, shipping and breeding mares AI . . . When working for Anson Stud Farm (at same location) Where I witnessed Not Bourbon born (out of almost 40 chestnut fillies it was finally a c**t!) and many more champions. I was blessed to meet the HVS team including Patrick and Elizabeth Hearns whom have never left my side and taught me so much for horse care in foaling then and through my life. We are boarding again under the same name on Pine Valley Dr Vaughan. I registered in 1998 Art Under Saddle accepting only a total of 10 broodmare, full circle of life. I can die happy loving these babies! 🫠🥰

I hope the mud stays frozen, thankfully not every paddock has turned to mud. The broodmare are still happy.

Grass delivery to the training centers have started! Natural Barley pre-biotics included in broodmare and weanling board. For our first day of snow this could not be better timing! Race horse training barn are enjoying deserved time off they will need the steady fresh grass for healthy gut and minds! Welcome winter!

Progress! We went from expecting a sand ring, to no more sand piles, grooming to follow the 120' x 240' outdoor ring! 3 round pens, 60' & 40' official sand round pens and our 60'+ indoor round pen is also available. Outdoor lights on it's way! Game changer!

Hot deals coming up this Wed. Definitely these ones are race horse personality! They are new visitors to my stables. However I sure hope to see them return home with new owners. Their stalls are waiting.
