🐾🐾POLICY UPDATES NOVEMBER 2022🐾🐾

CANCELLATION/NO SHOW.
24hrs notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment is common courtesy. Less than 24hr notice will result in a 50% cost of appointment charge. NO SHOWS will be charged 100% cost of appointment at the time of rebooking (ie you must pay for your missed appointment before I book a new one)

DROP OFF/PICK UP
At DROP OFF I will give an estimated amount of time for your dogs appointment (ie 1.5-2hrs). I will ask how much notice you would like to pick up your dog (usually 15 or 30mins, but however the amount of time it will take you to return can be arranged)
A text will be sent notifying you that your dog will be ready in XX amount of minutes. Please have your phone on and be ready to expect a text. Send a reply once you have been texted so I know it was received. A simple 'ok', 'on my way', '🙂' or '🖕' is great.
Failure to pick up your dog within 10mins of the alloted time (ie. you ask for 15mins notice but take 30mins to arrive) will result in a LATE PICK UP FEE of $30.

My salon is a 1 on 1 salon. I want all dogs to have a calm, stress free experience. In order to ensure each dog gets that experience I have appointments set up with a 15min window between dogs so pets don't meet each other coming in or out. I groom a lot of aggressive, reactive, personal protection and senior dogs that require they not come in contact with other dogs/people. I want to ensure my clients and their dogs are kept happy & safe😃

LATE/EARLY DROP OFF
We are all human and I understand 💩 happens. I ask that if you're going to be more than a few minutes late that you please text me and let me know. If I can accommodate you I absolutely will, if not I will make arrangements to rebook your dog asap. On occasion I can accommodate EARLY DROP OFF, please just message to ask.

REBOOKING
I have scaled back my hours and have limited appointments. Because of this reason I require all my clients with 'groomable dogs' (ie bichons, shih tzus, doodles, poodles etc) to prebook your dog every 6-8weeks (some exceptions to this rule may apply and can be discussed). Prebooking ensures I will have a future appointment for your dog. Please rebook your dog WITHIN 1 WEEK OF YOUR LAST GROOM. Failure to do so will result in me not having space for your dog in my schedule and you will have to go elsewhere for grooming 😭

MATTED/PELTED COATS
Again..💩💩💩 happens and dogs coats get neglected. This doesn't happen over night and I've heard every excuse. I don't demat dogs as it is inhumane, I extend grace 1 time and will shave your dog if possible. 2nd time around you will be asked to find another groomer. I LOVE dogs, dogs that are being neglected break my heart. Owners choose the breed that they have and there are far too many resources available at their fingertips to educate themselves on tools and technique. I am happy to offer recommendations for tools and if asked will give lessons on how to brush and comb.
