Important Update: Emergency Services for Animal Health Centre Clients

We understand how important it is to know your pets can receive care when they need it most. That’s why we want to keep you informed about some temporary adjustments to our emergency services.

Starting immediately, our team will be on call for in-clinic emergencies on Wednesday nights only. In addition, beginning in November, we will also provide in-clinic emergency services on select weekends. We will share the specific weekend dates as soon as they are confirmed.

Outside of these times, our trusted partners at VetTriage are available to offer expert advice and support to help you manage your pet’s needs at home whenever possible.

We know this change may be frustrating or inconvenient, and we want you to know that we truly share in that frustration. Unfortunately, like many veterinary clinics, we are facing the challenges of an ongoing veterinarian shortage. These adjustments are necessary to ensure our team can continue to provide safe, high-quality care to all our patients.

We deeply appreciate your patience, kindness, and understanding as we navigate this difficult period together. Your continued trust means the world to us.

Due to the ongoing veterinary shortage, the Animal Health Centre will not be able to provide on-call emergency services tonight. Our partners at VetTriage are available to assist you and your pets from home as much as possible during this time. However, please note that we will not be able to see any patients in the clinic tonight. We truly understand how frustrating and stressful this situation can be. Our team is actively working to find solutions and ensure your pets receive the best care possible. 💙
