Meet Siyah!
Siyah’s procedure was initially meant to investigate a mass her owner found in her mouth, however during the procedure we found an unrelated problem in her oral cavity! Her story highlights the importance of a COHAT (comprehensive oral health assessment and treatment) and dental radiographs! In an otherwise healthy looking oral cavity, a big problem was found beneath her gum line! Take a look at this video which outlines her procedure !

We had this creepy crawler come into the clinic on a cat who had been out around Corner Brook doing some hunting. Remember, ticks are more prevalent than ever in these summer months (don’t let the weather fool you, yes it is summer!!!), and we have plenty of preventative medications to ensure one of these bad boys doesn’t get carried around by your pets!

Creepy, crawly TICKS!! This particular tick was removed off of a dog in Pasadena, who never even left their own yard! It has been sent for identification, and to see if it carries the bacteria that can cause Lyme disease. Contact your veterinary team to find out what is the best tick prevention for your pet !
