I learned how to tie down a Ruff Land crate in my van from the Facebook group, "Dog Kennel Vehicle Setups and Ideas."
How did I do?

Dolly dog update
Here she is using her leg a bit more. She's had a lot of anti-inflammatory treatments but still holds the leg up more than this video shows. (Nose licks here are probably a reaction to my camera and me backing away vs just pain).
I'm learning about arthritis and dog knees. I'm very interested in the (pre)rehab I've signed her up for.
Dolly is quite stimulated by the new, non-athletic tricks we're working on and she absolutely loves doing the indoor follow alongs. She participates at a reduced level.
5 weeks to go until surgery.

One Puppy Agility spot opened up for Saturday, September 11th at 9:20 am. Class is 6 weeks long for 1 hour a week. Held at Good Karma Doggie Daycare. Cost is $230. 3 dogs max!
Puppy Agility is safe for pups 5-12 months of age. It is a great replacement for a traditional training class as we work on attention, off leash come, stay, and use of rewards. Its so fun!

Hahahaha. I've always wanted one of these made of my dog! Slapped it together on Canva.

Agility at Locarno
Agility classes at Locarno are off to a good start. Here's Megan and her dog Sadie!
Regional Agility Championships. A panned shot around three rings.
This child shaped his puppy to go under the chair this week. Just wow.
Arlo's leave it is da bomb.
James and Dolly play agility.
Agility Jump Grids
A jump grid we did in the Beginner Agility program last week. So fun! Next class is in March!
I train my dogs to wear muzzles no matter what their aggression status is. Its just part of owning a dog and if I ever have to use one, it won't cause extra stress. Vegas loves hers!
Four Come When Called Exercises
I'm taking an online course in teaching a better recall. Its taught by Donna Hill through the Fenzi Dog Sport Academy. Here are some exercises from the course that build a quick response to the word, "come!".
A snuffle mat for Dolly.
It works just like a dog puzzle but requires more sniffing to get the kibble.
This activity adds enrichment, but it can also work as an anti-stress tool outside (like at a dog event).
