There have been a lot of changes throughout the Covid 19 pandemic...and Tender Paws Pet Products has not been excluded from those changes, as I am sure you could tell by our absence of presence over the past couple years. 🔕🔇
Change is never easy but it is inevitable, and can be one of the most scariest of things for some people to go through...especially if it came unexpected. It can be scary indeed, because change is unfamiliar; it forces you to leave your comfort zone. All the things in life you were used to, have come to an end. 🛑💔
💭 So on that note, I thought it might be good to take some time and introduce a few of those changes that have occurred with myself, my family, and my small business...
Personal Changes
🏡 Firstly, we moved...again. This time to Saskatoon, SK.
👩👧👧 Secondly, WE is now just ME and my kids.
🐈⬛️🐈 Thirdly, my other kids--the ones with paws, have gone down from 2 dogs & 2 cats, to only the 2 cats; I was forced to leave my two pups behind as I was unable to bring everyone with us to our new place.
Business Changes
💲As I am sure most of you know from a previous post, we have a new list of product pricing (as well as a bit of change in our product offerings). The pandemic really hit the economy hard, and as such, prices for everything has risen, everywhere. Also, due to these increases, certain products are now "Made To Order", which means we will not be stockpiling them, and will need a little extra time to make and fill your order before shipping it out. 📦
🪄🪶 Due to issues with product availability, we are not offering our Wanda (feather wand) toys as of currently. We will update as soon as they become available again. We are, however, offering a new toy product for cats called Nippers (you guessed it, these will contain cat nip) 😸 Once they are available, we will have a special post to announce them, along with pricing. So stay tuned! 📢
🍠 We have also decided to discontinue our CHEW-bacca toys as it simply takes too long dehydrating the sweet potato rings using an oven, and the dehydrator we had was not mine to take with me. 🤷♀️

🚚 Delivery is still available in Saskatoon, only where you save on shipping, however, there will be a delivery fee of $5 per order. Deliveries will also be made on WEEKENDS ONLY, as I still work a full-time day job. (I should note that I do work one Saturday of every month, and so on those days, deliveries will be made on the following Sunday) 📅
📮Shipping will still be sent via Canada Post as it is still the easiest method available to me. Shipping costs, as with everything else, has gone up to minimum $20 within Saskatchewan, and some surrounding parts of Alberta and Manitoba. All other locations across Canada are subject to change in cost. As for our American friends, please be aware that all product prices are in CAD and are subject to current exchange rates. 📬
