💟 RETURN TO WORK UPDATE 💟

Good Afternoon! ☀️ This is a long but important post.

It’s taken me weeks to have the energy and brain power needed to articulate myself as I’d like to.

Asher just turned four months old, and yes, I am back.🙂 Before you reach out, please be patient with me and read everything I’m about to share with you…

I have re-done my work schedule, every day and route, in its entirety. It has taken me countless hours to see this through, by far one of the hardest things I’ve done business-wise.

What does this mean for YOU, my clients and friends who I value dearly? To put it simply … your appointment day and time will likely change.

🚗 Every client I had when I went off work in February will be contacted. You were not forgotten, I simply need time. There are many of you and it will take me weeks to message and visit all my clients. I need until August 1st.
[…with the exception of Pembroke & Petawawa… I need to sort out care for Asher.]

📅 Once you have an appointment spot, it’s yours every 4 weeks, same day and time. I will continue to send appointment reminders the day before.
I will do my best to accommodate your availability, but I am working very few evenings right now.

💰 I have increased my price by $3, making the first animal $25; every additional animal remains $10 each. And as always, my business runs on a strict four week schedule.

📬 If you are an existing client and you have moved, please reach out with your new address ASAP.

❌ I am not accepting new clients prior to August 1, 2024. It is important to me that I first return to my loyal and patient customers. Once I’m able, I’ll reply to all new inquiries, with a post on here to follow.

🌈 And in closing, if your beloved pet has sadly crossed rainbow bridge while I was away, PLEASE reach out. You and your animals are important to me. ❤️

Thank you for your support, patience, and understanding. Returning to work is necessary, but hard. I am looking forward to seeing you soon!

Hello friends,
I haven’t posted to Facebook - personal or business - since the birth of our son.

Ten weeks ago we welcomed our beautiful, big and healthy baby BOY into the world. 💙
Asher Taylor Marshall was born March 4th, 2024 at 9.5lbs and 20.5 inches. (And now we know why I struggled so badly to breathe near the end of my pregnancy!😆)

Just days before Asher’s arrival, we found out, unexpectedly, that my Grandma was going to pass away. My Grandma was a cornerstone in my life. Her love and presence were constant and unconditional. She passed away exactly one week after Asher was born. 💔 And the process of grief began. It still doesn’t feel real.

Now … if you’ve been hanging around for a while, this may sound familiar. Well, that’s because it kind of is. My Grandpa unexpectedly passed 10 days before my first son, Gabriel, was born in 2022.

There’s a plan much greater than you or I, and for some reason this was it. Navigating such heavy feelings of grief and joy, sadness and guilt at the same time, is not something I knew how to do.
Couple that with a very challenging postpartum, and I shut down for a little while.

So here I am … popping my head up and out of my safe and cozy (albeit exhausting) family cocoon to provide a life update and a long overdue introduction to our newest addition. Oh, and our sweet Gabriel turned two in April! 🎈

A two-year-old and a two-month-old … hmm, I wonder why we’re so tired. 😉

That’s all for today. 😌

I will be posting tomorrow with my return-to-work plan. But I’ll leave you with this … I’ll be seeing some of you very, very soon.

The last two weeks of illness and exhaustion have been absolutely horrid. I truly hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year, and more importantly, stayed healthy.

I hate that I have missed the last two weeks of work, but unfortunately all I can do now, is forge ahead.

It’s business as usual come Monday Morning… and I will see everyone for their regularly scheduled four week appointment. Every client who has been impacted these last two weeks will receive a personal message with details for their next appointment.

I’m having a baby, very soon, and will wrap up work the end of January/early February.

We are blessed to be growing our family, but I’m anxious to go off of work.

I’ll be taking 5-6 months off and then returning to work, full steam ahead.

Thank you for your patience, your understanding, support … but mostly, your friendship.

I am so incredibly grateful.

** ALL OF TODAYS APPOINTMENTS ARE CANCELLED **

I will reach out to each person individually - as soon as possible. (Today was a rescheduling of the Monday, January 1st Holiday.)

I apologize for the inconvenience but at this point I am simply at a loss. It is VERY likely the remainder of this week will be cancelled, including the rescheduling of last week’s appointments.

I don’t have the solution right now. I’m a team of one, trying to balance a buisness that I pour my heart and soul into, and a very sick little family. 😞

Please have patience and grace. I am doing my best. 💕

** Edit to add: If any of today’s clients see this post (you received a reminder less than 12 hours ago), please let me know. You’ll save me from having to send one of 60+ messages. Thank you sincerely ♥️)

Happy New Year!

Normally I work through most holidays, but with both Christmas and New Year’s falling on a Monday, I rescheduled these rotations ahead of time with the remainder of the work week to flow as usual.

However, our holiday has not gone as planned and my body and baby were forced to take a break on Christmas. I am still under the weather, but hope to be back on track soon.

All appointments that were scheduled for this week have been/are cancelled and will be rescheduled as soon as I am capable. [This includes White Lake, Waba, Burnstown, Renfrew, Admaston, HWY132, Renfrew, Galetta, Fitzroy Harbour, Constance Bay, Kinburn and Dunrobin areas.]

My family and I have received an abundance of thoughtful and heartwarming Christmas cards, gifts, and messages from SO MANY of you.
I am oddly sentimental and don’t like to open things before Christmas, and since I have been unwell, I am looking forward to enjoying a quiet moment soon to appreciate your kindness and generosity.

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and fingers crossed for a much more positive and informative update closer to the start of 2024.
