Our Story

Dave and I started rescuing slaughter bound horses in 2008. We jumped in with both feet, and haven't looked back since! Our goal is to take in horses in danger of going to slaughter or whose owners can no longer care for them, and rehome them to loving homes with the right owner. We provide a safe, caring environment with one to one attention. Very often these horses need time to heal from physical and emotional issues. All are loved and cared for. Potential owners will need to sign a contract and home checks and vet references will be done before releasing any of our rescues. A rehoming fee will depend on the training level each horse has. Volunteers are always needed and welcomed with open arms! No experience needed. We currently have 5 rescue horses in our care. But with winter upon us, the number is bound to go up! Can't spare the time but wanna help? We are accepting cash donations for feed and vet care. Everything we do is with the help of people like you
