Little Lions Pet Care Provides safe, caring, reliable & professional in-home nursing after-care, on-going care support and I am proud to now offer these services in Bruce County.

Little Lions is an in-home pet care service specializing in surgical after-care, health maintenance, and elderly and end of life care, while also providing traditional pet sitting, dog walking, social & behaviour training, as well as other care services. As a professional veterinary assistant and technician employed in a busy Vancouver Vet Clinic I was able to identify a need in the pet care marke

t – for affordable and reliable in-home medical after care and maintenance - that was currently unmet by existing pet care and sitting businesses. As an experienced animal care professional I will be able to provide both temporary and ongoing assistance for owners who have trouble administering medications, injections, fluids, or in monitoring a recovering animal, and providing recovery care such as flushing wounds, changing bandages, or maintaining regular medical care for elderly or end of life situations. In addition to this specialized care, which would be the main focus of the business, I would also be providing general grooming and health services such as dental, nail trimming, grooming, and nutritional guidance, as well as pet sitting services for owners who will be away from home, which may also include any of the above services or just feeding, watering and visiting. We also have a dog expert on hand that specializes in dog adventures, socialization and behaviour training, and has vast experience with challenging animals. We also offer Hobby Farm support with experience with chickens, ducks, cows, horses, donkeys, sheep, and Goats. We have never met an animal we can’t love.

Our Story

As a professional veterinary assistant employed in a busy Downtown Vet Clinic I was able to identify a need in the pet care market – for affordable and reliable in-home medical after care and maintenance - that was currently unmet by existing pet care and sitting businesses. As an experienced animal care professional I will be able to provide both temporary and ongoing assistance for owners who have trouble administering medications, injections, fluids, or in monitoring a recovering animal, and providing recovery care such as flushing wounds, changing bandages, or maintaining regular medical care for elderly or end of life situations. Little Lions relocated from Vancouver to Grey-Bruce in 2016 and began providing limited services in the Saugheen Shores area. After settling in the area, and finding employment with The Southampton Pet Hospital, and then The Grey Bruce Pet Hospital in Owen Sound, I found the same needs were not being met in in-home care and we are now proud to be launching Stage Two of our Redevelopment. Little Lions is now proud to offer our full range of pet Sitting, Dog Walking, and In-Home Veterinary After Care to residents of Port Elgin, Southampton and the entire Grey-Bruce Region.
