Our sweet Enzo was taken from us far too soon. At just 2 years old, he was full of life, love, and so much personality. He wasn’t just a pet — he was our baby, our soul dog, and our truest companion. Through every heartbreak, every quiet moment, and every celebration, Enzo was there — snuggled between us, protecting our hearts with his gentle spirit. He gave us unconditional love and filled our home with joy. Now, the silence feels unbearable, but his love still lingers in every room, in every memory. We miss his snuggles, his energy, his everything. Rest peacefully, Enzo. You were our whole world, and we’ll carry you with us forever.

Angus came into my life when he was 7 months old. The moment I met him, I knew I wasn’t going anywhere without him. He was there for all the big moments - buying my first house, walking me down the aisle & telling me I was going into labour. We travelled the country many times. We explored endless beaches, campsites & trails. He was my best friend through all the ups and downs. He was kind, loyal, regal & stoic. He was also silly, stubborn and anxious at times. He celebrated his 12th birthday a few weeks earlier. I’m grateful we had so much love and fun together. Also, very thankful he passed peacefully at home on his bed surrounded by his family. Until we meet again, I will miss you terribly. xoxoxoxox my boy

We thank you for your companionship, your never ending Jack Russell energy, and of course your unconditional love.

You were the best camping partner and yet the worst driving buddy, as you would whine all the way to the beach or where ever else we went. But that didn’t matter, you were our constant companion, and we will miss you.

Max Tsolum Johnson

Max lived life to its fullest and was always ready for an adventure with his humans. Raised alongside his two legged siblings, M, K, and N he never spent a day not being loved. We are grateful for the honour of being his humans and will miss his zest for life. Our best boy passed peacefully surrounded by those who loved him. Thank you to the staff at Island Tides for his care these past 6 months. Your kindness and compassion are greatly appreciated. We will miss you Max!

Dozer 2009-2024 the best Itty Bitty Pitty there ever was. He guarded the kids from monsters under the bed, he raised many foster puppies and kittens and loved it, he was the best foot warmer anyone could ask for. So very loved and so very missed. We love you Doh-Doh

Carlton you came into our world with thanks from Port Alberni SPCA and became our family's everything, protector, four-legged brother, and guard dog. You were so full of life and we have so many memories of our crazy fun-loving boy. We greatly miss your happy smile and you will always be in our heart, thank goodness for videos.

Sofi was adopted from the SPCA in Nanaimo in March 2018. She was 5 years old. She can best be described as our healing cat. She was a great comfort for me during 2 knee surgeries and a comfort for my daughter Jennifer and son Lucas and to all who visited who loved cats.
Sofi was so soft, hence her name Sofi. She was the most affectionate and cuddly cat I've ever had and my first female cat. A true love and companion.
Sofi had health issues from adoption and passed away way too soon at the age of 11. A big loss. She will be missed forever. Forever in our hearts. We love you Sofi. Until we meet again.

Baby was 18 years and 13 days old at the time of her passing. She fought through a variety of health problems to make it to her 18th birthday.

Baby was the most loving, intelligent, funny and special cat. She enjoyed going on short walks outside, snuggling in bed, sitting on laps, and bathing in the sun as much as possible.

She is dearly missed by her adoptive parents, who adopted her nearly 6 years ago at age 12.
