We will be hosting a vaccine, microchip, and deworming clinic on July 17th at Enoch Animal Services

For dogs AND cats 🐾

This clinic will be free to encourage the ENTIRE nation to come down, but we will be accepting donations.
Please keep in mind that these are not cheap to run, so we do encourage those who can afford to, to donate.

We are so excited to be working alongside Alberta Helping Animals Society AND the amazing Dr. Savannah Howse again ❤️

Let's ensure our furry friends are disease and worm free, plus can get home if they get lost.

All dogs must be on leash, and all cats MUST be contained somehow. Kennels is ideal, but boxes with holes will also suffice.

This will be first come, first serve.
We will have supplies to see over 100 animals, but you never know if we will run out.

Come down to the event, leave your animals in your vehicle, and then come sign in at the registration table.
Animals will be called one by one off the list when it is their turn.
If you own a reactive dog, please let registration know when you sign in.

There will be gift bags for the first 24 people that come, plus a super special gift basket you can put your name in for when you come 🧺

Blondie

Please share to help us find her forever home!

Approx 2yr female, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed. Will be spayed this week.

Blondie is very friendly with people and would do well with older kids
She is working on not jumping up on people
Would likely be okay with other dogs with a slow introduction
Not fully tested with cats, has met some in their condos in the kitty room with no bad reaction.
Kennel trained
House trained
She is super snuggly and loves cuddles
She loves a good run in the yard and is working on her leash skills
Blondie still has puppy mannerisms and sometimes mouths hands when she gets over stimulated playing. She is working on this currently.
A fenced-in yard is required.
Blondie has many scars on her body and head that will likely never grow hair back, and she is missing a part of the tip of her ears. We are not sure what happened to her before she came into care, but they are all healed and do not bother her.

She is active but tires quickly, so she doesn't need a ton of exercise. A session in the yard playing is great for her. She loves to lounge in the sun at your feet and to follow you around as you go about your day.
Blondie is SUPER food motivated, which makes training so much easier.

Please remember we only allow force free training on all of our adopted dogs. Blondie would benefit from some 1 on 1 private training with a positive reinforcement trainer to improve her basic obedience

Drop off will be with us on July 4th, and surgery will take place on the 5th at our partners' facility in Edmonton. All cats must be picked up on the 5th after surgery at our building. Pick up time will be given when you sign up.

Cola
Please share to help us find her forever home!

Approx 3yr spayed female, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed.

Cola is very friendly with people and loves kids
Medium sized. About knee height.
NO other animals
Kennel trained
Fully house trained
She is super snuggly and loves cuddles
Cola loves fetch, though she is still learning to bring the ball back
She loves a good run in the yard and is working on her leash skills
Cola is very springy and can jump surprisingly high. She would be a great candidate for a home who would like to do agility.
A fenced-in yard is required.

Cola is very gentle and respectful with kids, even young ones. She is working on not jumping up on adults. She is active but tires quickly, so she doesn't need a ton of exercise. A session in the yard playing is great for her. She loves to lounge in the sun at your feet and to follow you around as you go about your day. She loves car rides and will hop right in.

Introducing our first ever Throwback Thursday!!

This is Koda, formerly known as Pixie. She was found in a dumpster scared and alone at 4 months old.

“She is now almost 2, she is the most goofy and loving girl. She loves cuddles like seriously she will cuddle you so much you feel suffocated haha. She goes nuts for treats and is happy all the time, and I mean ALL the time. We are so grateful she has came into our home.

She has impacted our family in such a positive way, never a dull moment with my girl.” - Kodas family

Kami had such a good time meeting everyone at Canadian Ink Studios at the tattoo fundraiser!
She's been to 3 in person events in the last little while, and somehow, this little sweetheart hasn't got a single adoption application

She got her second vaccines today and is now fully vetted and ready for someone to bring her home.

Timber
Please share to help us find his forever home!

Approx 1yr neutered male, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed.

Timber is exuberant, and his energy level sets off some other dogs. He would need a patient dog and training to be able to be in a home with other pets
Very friendly with people and kids but needs dog savvy kiddos as he is still learning not to knock them over
Kennel training is going well, but he does howl for a bit when first left.
Fully house trained
VERY vocal. VERY. You must be able to appreciate a talkative pooch.
Timber is the very definition of a velcro dog. He loves to be stuck to you like glue.
He is super snuggly and loves hugs and cuddles.
Timber is learning how to play with toys and learning how to fetch.
A fenced-in yard is required.

Timber is young and is learning his manners. We are working on not jumping up and walking on a leash. He has energy to burn, so he would do best in a semi active family. Keeping his mind busy will help him not become bored. He is super food motivated and really enjoys lickmats to work his brain. He is a happy, goofy guy who will bring so much joy and love to a family.

Please remember we only allow force free training on all of our adopted dogs. Timber would benefit from an obedience class to continue learning how to be the best dog he can be.

Back at our very first Paws & Claws tattoo fundraiser with Canadian Ink Studios we brought a little kitten named Sparrow (now Gomez) with us to the event. At the event one of the tattoo artists met him, fell in love with him, and adopted him.
Pictured is him, his brother, and our Manager Tanisha at that first event.

Here he is now 5 years later! He's a big spunky goofball who keeps his Dad on his toes. He loves playing fetch and has the biggest personality. Isn't he so handsome?! 😍

Come down to the THIRD annual event this Saturday at the studio and maybe meet your new best friend too ❤️

Princess Cinnamon

**Special Consideration**

1.5yr old spayed female, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed.
Cinnamon takes daily anxiety medication and will likely need these lifelong. However, they are very affordable.
Good with other dogs
Good with cats
Teens and up only, no young children
Kennel trained (and needs this to continue as she views her kennel as her safe space)
Fully house trained

We will never know what happened to Cinnamon in her past, but we do know her future is very bright.
Cinnamon has been in care for over 6 months working with her foster family on getting used to the world and learning how to be a dog.

Cinnamon is fearful of many things and requires an extremely patient and gentle home that will allow her extra time to warm up to new people and situations.
Cinnamon loves adventures and walks once she is comfortable.
She is very snuggly and adores the people she knows are safe.
Cinnamon would benefit from a confident dog in her forever home that can help her when she gets scared.
She enjoys play dates with her doggie friends and walks in a rural setting.
Cinnamon needs to be walked on a harness as she is very fearful of the leash being clipped to her collar.
Cinnamon loves toys and to play. She LOVES to play ball.
A fenced-in yard is required.

Cinnamon will require her new forever family to visit her a few times in her foster home in Millet prior to adoption. This ensures her transition to her forever home is as stress free as possible.

Please remember we only allowed force free training on all of our adopted dogs. This is EXTRA needed for Cinnamon to continue the amazing work her foster home has done to get her this far.
