This winter Wildflower is helping you get in the holiday spirit! We’re bringing you an assortment of beautiful, high quality plants to add a fresh touch to your home🌿💐

Choose from wreaths, boughs, gorgeous poinsettias, and more, all while supporting Wildflower and our New Tack & Equipment Fund! Having comfortable, well-fitted tack for both our humans and horses is an important part of having a great riding experience! 🐎

All plant orders are due November 8, and we’ll have your plants available for pick up before December, just in time for that festive feeling🎄

We’re so grateful to our community for continuing to create this inclusive, encouraging, and friendly space, and for supporting all the animals (and humans) within it❤️🐴🐓

We get it, the feeling of being a beginner at something can feel strange and sometimes off-putting, especially as an adult, buuut we also know that the excitement, joy, and sense of accomplishment that come with it is unparalleled!!

Many of our adult community members started with horses in their adult years or have come back to horses after riding in their youth! So if you’re new, new-ish, or wanting to be new to riding and are feeling unsure…. Join us! Come on in! Take the leap! We swear it’ll be worth it and we promise to celebrate with you every step of the way! 🐴🥳

Fall is here and that means it’s the perfect time for 🥧🍂PIE🍂🥧

We are partnering with Calgary business, , to fundraise for our Vet Care Fund for our Wildflower horses. Pie Ju**ie offers sweet and savoury pies so you can fill your freezer with easy meals for you or your family this winter while supporting your favourite horses🤎🐴

Pie orders must be placed by October 10th at noon, and pie pick up will start on October 24th at our barn! If you’d like to have your pies in time for Thanksgiving, you can purchase vouchers to use in store like a gift certificate! Voucher orders need to be in by noon on October 4🎟️ for an Oct 5 pick up

Take it from us, horses can have a significant impact on your mental, emotional, and physical health! 🧠💗

Horses have a unique way of emotionally connecting with the humans around them. They are empathetic and closely tuned to human emotions, which can be helpful for regulating and understating your own emotions. Plus, horses may be some of the best listeners ever (because who doesn’t talk to their horse?!)

Participating in regular riding lessons is also great for setting routines, creating social connections, getting active, and building confidence! 😄

There is all sorts of research out there on the various health benefits of human-horse relationships, and while we love reading that research, the best way will always be experiencing it for yourself! 🐴🌸

Calling all youth, ages 6-18, who want to get into a saddle and learn the fundamentals of horseback riding! Our Beginner Riding Sessions are the perfect inclusive, fun, and judgement-free spaces to learn the fundamentals of riding and explore what the world of horses has to offer! (Spoiler: it’s full of wonderful humans & horses!)

⏰ Saturdays from 2:15-3:45pm and Mondays from 5-6:30pm

This past week we had a blast at our Explorers Overnight Camp!⛺️🌸

We explored the farm’s ‘backcountry’, built shelter & set up camps, explored trails on horseback, and learned how to camp with horses 🌲

It was a week of learning, exploring, and a whole lot of fun! We love being able to share knowledge & connect with our community to create ‘mane’ memories🐴 We’re looking forward to more camps, clinics, and lessons!
