🥰 All 6 female pups + Arrasis's photos are done! Males will be completed tomorrow and then its off to new homes!

(Visenya is likely a Light Colourpoint Nutmeg Pied , however that wont be certain due to her genetics having so many recessive genes that lighten colour, as she wont be bred this isnt very important.)

I know families and applications are anxiously awaiting, but I do have to ask for some unexpected patience as personal family issues have come up, getting ready for our new cats has taken up so much of my time already Im exhausted 😣💖 So please bare with me as Ive been behind schedule getting everything sorted out. Im hoping this coming week will provide me some down time to be able to get photos taken of everyone and sort out who will be going to who 💕

The good news is.... after my last gender check it turns out we have another male! Sneaky little light nutmeg mottle BOY not girl 😅 (this is why 8 weeks is so important for these guys to properly identify genders, temperaments and get them correctly prepared for new homes 💖)

We have a huge surprise coming to our kennel! However this surprise unfortunately may mean we stop breeding gerbils for a while, its a very bittersweet thing. I am beyond thrilled to say we will be breeding bengal cats, with appropriate health testing, genetic testing, showing and more to ensure the best well rounded cats possible 🥰

We will be welcoming a gorgeous male and absolutely stunning female into our home in the next few coming weeks, this does mean we will be downsizing and selling most of our remaining gerbils as I will only be keeping 4-6 💖

All the female pups + Arrasis (whos due any day now!) 💖 All of these will be available for purchase!
This consists of:
- 1 Black pied (black w/white)
- 1 Burmese pied (darker brown w/white)
- 1 Siamese (light brown)
- 1 Dark Tailed White (white w/dark tail)
- 2 Pink Eyed White (white w/pink eyes)
- 1 Light nutmeg pied/mottle (white w/ colour changing orange/brown)
And Arrasis who is suspected to be a Black Eyed White (white w/black eyes)

These pups can be paired along with any pups Arrasis will have from this final litter that are female, the wait will just be longer as such.

Well its that time! All the girls and boys have been split from Arrasis x Benson and Zelina x Estella. At 6 weeks and 5 weeks old we're looking like we have 2 males and 7 females! With these litters being so close in age all the females / males were put in separate tanks with a parent that will be rehomed with a pairing of pups. This is all the female pups in the video! The parents that will be rehomed are Arrasis (with the females) and Zelina (with the males). Higher quality photos will be done shortly!

Our website application form is now up and running, if you have any interest in getting pups from these litters or the close upcoming litters now is the time to start applying! @ www.royalwingsgerbils.ca

Well, big surprise! This was NOT planned at all, and has some quirks that come with it we will address in a future post, but for now I couldnt not share these beautiful pups that are coming along wonderfully 💕
This litter is from Estella and Zelina, some will be made available at appropriate ages, and a second litter will be produced pending all goes well 🥰💖 Everyone is good and healthy with calm personalities starting to show which should pair perfectly with the other litter on the ground at the moment.

Arrasis x Benson Litter 1 are doing fantastic! Eyes are starting to open and they are lively as ever! No problems with any of them and Im so glad to see their characters starting to come out.

As these pups age I will be adding colouring pigment to them that is safe to them to help track their progression and make sure everyones coming along nicely.

Arrasis x Benson pups are all doing awesome 💕 however I am utterly baffled at whats going on with these genetics 😅 the mystery is killing me!
We have 1 siamese for sure (darkest pup), 2 with red/pink eyes and 2 with black eyes- however their coat colours arent typical just white like id expect! One with black eyes has a darkening tail, one with red/pink eyes are starting to have a more silvery coat than white (however that may be just age). These guys are no further in helping me figure out Arrasis's genes lol

But my god theyre cute, looks like a nice balance of genders (that can change however), really nice temperaments so far, and moms been amazing.
Im so proud of my lines and the results of so much time and effort, I can't wait to see where these pups end up going 💖

Arrasis x Benson litter is doing amazing! Strong and healthy with so much energy, its actually a struggle to get photos of them already lol! One pup is starting to get darker pigment with fingers crossed I'd love to see this litter have a burmese pup!
3 pups have dark eyes, 2 pups have red/pink, it will be interesting to see what comes from this mystery litter

Surprise! Arrasis and Benson had 5 healthy babies today! 🥰💖 This litters colours are unknown as the mother is a mystery case for us, so as they grow we will be updating photos! We will be taking applications for these pups later on 💕

Hello all! We have amazing news to be sharing with you all shortly and many updates to post about and to explain why this account became so severely behind and answer some common questions 💖 Some are amazing, some are bittersweet, some might even be hard to hear, but regardless I am so overly exciting to share it all with all of you and get into a more regular sharing schedule again 💖 Thank you to each and everyone of you for the continued support and love even if we were unable to show it back at that time 💕 You guys are so beyond amazing for this so thank you truly from the bottom of my heart 💕

Well, we had another unfortunate pup with Odella, found this pup far along and not doing well, she showed no interest in him and after all my meddling with him I decided to remove her from him. He survived 2 days before a bad spiral that ultimately took his little life 😭😓 I was blessed with all the time I had with him round the clock feeding, little snuggles and warmth checks. He was such a sweet little boy im still working on what his name will be💕

I am heartbroken to also share the unexpected passing of our beautiful Riviera she had so much potential and passed much too young. While she may have only had one litter with Nivarin he is clearly upset by her passing, as were her 6 surviving daughters. Its unknown what caused her passing so suddenly and so young, sadly it can just be that way with gerbils sometimes. Her sister Nimera, and all of her beautiful daughters will carry on Riviera's legacy 💖 Rest in peace pretty girlie

We proudly announce G2's birth today (5 days late 😅) from beloved RWG's Eivor and RWG's Nimera!
Exactly what could have been hoped for with this pairing has come through with gorgeous high amounts of white on 3 pups (2 especially!).

D2 litter with dad Nivarin and mom Riviera 💖 babies are all happy and healthy and growing like little weeds! Some of the best parents I've ever had come from these two's lines and it shows! They are incredible parents and constantly doting on every child

Litter updates!
Excited to announce the arrival of E2 litter from Noctus and Envy! Photos soon to come, it appears we have 5-6 little babies! I will beginning their handling tomorrow hopefully.

D2 and C2 are both coming along nicely, at 4 weeks old now they have been introduced to new surfaces, new noises and new treats and are doing great. One of the pups has shown to have some tummy troubles with the newer foods and switching, so we have been keeping an extra close eye on him but otherwise all are thriving!

B2 babies are now 6 weeks old and looking beautiful! They have 100% come into their own and we have a cast of characters with this litter, the new families who will be getting these guys are looking to have some very interesting family members! Which makes me even more excited to see what comes from our E2 litter! Everyone is growing well and with the arrival of the new litter dad has been split from the family along with his son/s. Daughters are all with mother still and are some of the most curious little girls I've ever seen! This was a lovely litter and I'm excited to have a second and possibly third litter from this pair.

‘B2 litter’ ~ 2 days short of 3 weeks
PC’s Aria/Envy & RWG’s Noctus

Look at these little guys 😍 so far I love their structure, theyve just opened their eyes so all are still pretty wild and skittish (making photos so tricky to get!) However, the last white male and white female really stood out for how calm they were. The female especially could not be any sweeter! All of them are progressing great and parents couldnt be any better!

Names have officially been given!

These have got to be the cutest little bunch, Im amazed at the parents care for them all! Theyre doing amazing! Looks to be some interesting colours popping up from this bunch too! No burmese by the looks of it but possibly some other surprises 👀💕

RWG’s Riviera and RWG’s Nivarin’s large 7 pup large ‘D2 litter’ born this evening! This is the second litter we have had be this big and its the biggest our kennels had so far!

They’re all looking great, really strong, well fed and full of energy. Mom is doing great, and dad... well hes doing good, but hes a bit distracted by the urge to mate again 😂😅 we’ll give him a bit of time before we judge him too harshly yet lol. I still cant believe they all fit inside little Riviera and showed no signs of being there! Sneaky little mom she is 😜

As you may be able to tell dad Eivor is a HUGE fan of the high fat/protein food meant for mom... 😂 face first!

Im proud to say we have two new lovely litters born this evening from RWG’s Nivarin and RWG’s Riviera who welcomed 7 pups! And RWG’s Nimera and RWG’s Eivor who so far have welcomed 3 pups (there may be more to come) 💖 photos will come shortly!

The past few months have been long and exhausting for us, unfortunately we have to announce the passing of many beloved gerbils due to old age including kennel favourites such a Exie ‘Heavenly Enchanted’, Niyol ‘Noble Omen’ and Othello ‘Crowned Halo’ and RWG’s Fig are among those lost.

All who passed have gone peacefully in the comfort of their friends and family, with full bellies and the best of treats they could possibly have. Many were laid to rest along with their cage mate, found curled up together as if peacefully sleeping. Gathered up carefully and wrapped delicately together before held and kissed one last time. The lovely memories from each will never be forgotten and the beautiful offspring each had will forever be remembered and cherished. No words will ever be able to express how much each meant, and how much they gave to this kennel, but it will forever be remembered and forever shown as our kennel continues on with their lovely temperaments, personalities, beautiful colours and great health passed on for many generations to come.

Fly high beautiful babies, you will never be forgotten, and never loved any less 🕊💕
