Ten years ago, we bought eight beautiful Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horses and committed ourselves to raise, training, and breeding. As a lifetime member of the Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse Association, I take great pride in being involved with this type of horse. Are show stopper Nix-N is off to his new home today!. The bonus here as that he will get to be pasture mates with Lazuli (whom we sold last year). Super awesome to work with such great people that love this breed as much as we do. We wish them all the best.

Many ask me about whether to blanket your horse. We don’t - But if horses are given access to various shelters and a proper feed program horses - they don’t need it. But like everything there is more to consider when looking at what is best for your horse. The countdown is closing in that our sweet Vienticinco or “Cinco” for short will be heading to her exceptional new human partners. We are very excited to see her grow up to be an incredible horse. We wish them both all the best.
One of registered KMSH mares is available, Peridot. Or Dottie for short. We had sold earlier in the year but her new owner has had unexpected shifts in health so we are teaming up to find her a new perfect fit. She just turned 2 in May. 14HH. This mare is a true reflection of the breed. Easy going, loves being were people, and a willing learner. Ground work has been lightly started only. We happy to share that our beautiful, Suzy Q has found her match. But the special part of this is that she is returning to the incredible lady that so graciously sold her to me 9 years ago. I couldn’t be more happy to see this reunion occur. Thank you Suzy for all the great rides, foals, head butts, and special moments. They will be treasured.

Let us introduce Ivy. She is ready to get started with her next chapter. She is currently an unregistered Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse (she can be registered if you chose). This mare was always planned to be my horse. She has great temperament and gait. However I have continually got tied up working on other horses and just never got the chance to get ‘my horse’ started. Now things have adjusted and I have come to admit that this isn’t going to happen. I don’t want to see this darling horse not get the chance to excel fully. Looking to add a registered KMSH to your farm? Dixie is in foal, expected in early May. Great mom to all her foals, never had any health issues with her or the foals. She was only broke to gain her certificate for registration, we have only used her as broadmare. I am confident she would fall back into riding easily as she has great colouring for the trail.
