Want your business to be the top-listed Pet Store/pet Service?
In 2015, Dr Gayle McDonald and RVT Cathy Silver began a new chapter in veterinary medicine in the Edmonton area - a cat exclusive, mobile veterinary practice.
Cats receive less veterinary care than dogs: A 2017 study demonstrated that 58% of cat owners think their cat hates going to the veterinary clinic and 38% of cat owners felt stress about just thinking of taking their cat to a veterinary clinic.
Cats are less stressed at home and recover more quickly if there is any stress. Our cat friendly approach is to take more time with each cat and household, taking a thorough history, performing the examination at a pace, and in a place, the cat feels comfortable, and ensuring you have detailed information on how to care for your feline friend by the time we leave.
Gayle McDonald has been a veterinarian for 22 years. She graduated from WCVM in Saskatoon in 1998. She worked with a variety of species until devoting her focus to cats in 2007 when she purchased the Glenora Cat Clinic. She has two cats (Tang and Derp) at home who are spoiled rotten.
