What makes your dog even happier? Download the list!

At the end of my book Wag: The Science of Making Your Dog Happy, there's a checklist for a happy dog that draws together all of the info in the book. People can use it to see what they are already doing right for their dog, and to have a think about what they might like to try to see if it makes their dog even happier. People have kept asking for this list to be available separately. So today, for , I've put it on my blog. You can get it here: https://www.companionanimalpsychology.com/2024/08/the-checklist-for-happy-dog-from-wag.html

We’re excited about the progress made on the development of PACTA’s Peer Evaluated Animal Resource Library (PEARL].

The goal of PEARL is to create a free and reliable collection of resource reviews for companion animal guardians and professionals that will quickly pinpoint valuable online, digital, and physical resources.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Animal Welfare Foundation of Canada, and to very talented and productive coop students at Thompson Rivers University, we are very close to launching the PEARL project.

Please join us this Sunday, March 24th at 4pm PDT, to eat potato chips, talk about this much-need project, and find out how you can benefit!

Click on the event and RSVP for the Zoom link.

Interested in learning more about the Professional Animal Care and Training Assoc of BC? Join others to eat snack food at the quarterly PACTA & Potato Chips virtual event and chat about PACTA BC. Bring your chips, questions, and ideas!
