These Berner Girls are looking for a new home through BMDCC Rescue.

Karma & Kashy – Ontario, Canada

We are looking for a special home for two lovely ladies. We will NOT transport, and any applicants must be willing and able to visit the girls at least once before any final adoption will be completed. We would prefer to place them together but will consider separating them for the right situations/homes.

The K girls are approximately six years old, spayed, fully up to date on their vaccines and microchipped. Both girls require their ears to be monitored regularly as they will get ye**ty and require treatment if not kept clean. They are both on Apoquel that will need to be continued and/or discussed with their new veterinarian.

They both are housetrained and will let you know when they need to go outside.

They do not like chickens and have not been tested with other animals so their prey drive is unknown.

They both love bananas and cream cheese which is used to hide their medications.

They are good with other dogs and enjoy meeting them.

They require gentle, kind, and consistent commands and training as most Bernese do.

They have and enjoy soft bedding. Their elbow callouses have mostly cleared up since they have come into foster and been given softer bedding.

Karma: Is affectionate and always wants attention. She is confident and does require a firm voice when given commands. She is a work in progress with her leash manners but does know sit, stay, down, back, and away. She does not go on the furniture, has a great appetite, and needs a playmate. She loves to run and is of a healthy weight. Does not enjoy car rides and does get car sick.

Kashy: Is affectionate but more cautious until she knows you. She will not obey the “come in” command if she had decided she wants to stay outside. She is left outside for several hours at a time, weather permitting. She will bark to alert. She is playful and does require a playmate. She is a good eater. Enjoys car rides.

We are looking for a home that has someone at home or works only part time away from home. An adult only family or a family with older teenagers is preferred.

A secure and fenced yard is required for any adoption. Our Adoption Fee is $650.00.
